Starting February—the month of love—with a little act of kindness 💕

Our founder Yaz visited the Gozo SPCA to meet Dennis, a charming pup in need of some nail care. With the help of the amazing team there, Dennis is now looking (and feeling) his best. Yaz also lent a hand to trim the nails of other animals, share some playtime, and donate fresh food, treats, and toys for the shelter’s pets 🐾

🌿Did you know? While poinsettias are a holiday favourite, they can pose a risk to your pets? 🐶🐱

The plant’s milky sap contains compounds that may cause mild irritation to a pet’s mouth and stomach if ingested, leading to drooling, vomiting, or in some cases, diarrhea. While not highly toxic, it’s best to keep them out of reach to avoid discomfort or an unnecessary trip to the vet during the holidays.

If your pet shows symptoms after nibbling on a poinsettia, rinse their mouth with water and consult your vet if needed!
