What is Biothane?

BioThane® is the brand name of coated webbing products made by BioThane Coated Webbing Corp. It’s basically a polyester webbing with a TPU or PVC coating that makes it more durable, waterproof, easy to clean, and weldable. The main value of this material is its strength and easy maintenance. It resembles leather, but has a lot of advantages over it:

does not change its appearance
does not wear out
does not absorb water and dirt
does not change color
does not color dog’s hair
resistant to bacteria or fungus
easy grip
stink proof
