Judge: Dr Tamas Jakkel (FCI Presedent)

Unfortunately on day 2, due to a ring official mistake, Thyra was not call to compete for the Junior group, despite having won the Junior breed with 1st Excel. Further more the judge, Dr. Tamas Jakkel, refused to re judge the group, even though it was only just me and another dog. At the very least I expected him to give Thyra the lap of honour around the ring since he was the judge that had already judged her earlier on and though she was all worth that.

Unfortunately again I think this is not a nice way that a President of such a highly respected organization should handle such situations as it portrays a very bad example of showing respect to anyone entering a show.

Looks like "Leading by example" means nothing here.

A very enjoyable weekend spent with friends, pets and yes, going round in circles.

Our pointers did very well despite the new kid was not placed in the group but both girls showed their socks off.

What a great Sunday spent with friends and pets at The Malta Canine Society championship dog show, where great showmanship was the order of the day and organized professionally. It wasn't a bad ending though as mother and daughter did a fantastic duo of winnings under one of the UK's respected judges, Mr.Geoff Corish.

Laga - WW20 RSCE20 Int.Ch MultiCh Grd.MltCh JnrCh Chesterhope Lady Lagertha managed to grab a G2 and our homebred kido Thyra - Berseydale Full House had her fair share and got G1, both from their respective group line-ups of quality dogs.

All our fury kid's hungry mouths are fed by Winner Plus Malta. We would like to thank all at NiTi Supplies Malta for having our backs.

like all others, unfortunately comes to an end. This year wasn't good to us, no placings, but nevertheless I will definitely take the best dog at home with me 😊. Always an absolute pleasure meeting my pointer friends, making new ones, talk pointers and the awesome family keeps growing.

This year I had the privilege to personally hand 2 pups from our last litter to their fantastic forever homes. Humbled by the feedback I had so far from their new mums on how well they settled in and how good they have been.

My next big event would be a judging appointment to the breed I am extremely fond of and I honestly can't wait for it.

Somewhere in France with these two fury kids. After Alfie has happily joined and settled in with mummy Viktoria and his new friend Royce in Hungary, it is now time for brother Dino to meet his mum in the UK.
Meanwhile mum Laga - WW20 RSCE20 BISS IntCh MultiCh Chesterhope Lady Lagertha is well prepared for her great yearly event and in style.

What a great way to return on the green carpet after a long stop due to the arrival of some bundles of joy.

This time we had our new kid on the block Thyra - Berseydale Full House were for her first time she managed to grab a Gundog Puppy G2 under UK judge Mr Ernie Paterson.
Mummy Laga on the other hand went on to Gundog Group G1, both from lovely lineups.

Alfie - Berseydale Poker Face was also entered and managed to keep his 4 feet on the ground until judged. The rest of the time he decided to have plenty of fun 😊

So happy with the results and how Thyra and her sibblings handled the ring and all the atmosphere at the show. I think they are all ready to hit the ring now 😊

Berseydale Pointers are pleased to welcome the , consisting of 3 gorgeous boys and 2 beautiful girls. Mums Laga is an exceptional mum. Both Laga and pups are doing great.
Special thanks to Matthew Oddie and Sam Oddie for trusting us to collaborate with them and use Poker as the Sire of our litter.

Crufts for some is just a word but for dog lovers around the world it is a once in a life time must, and for others becomes a yearly habit. I wouldn't miss it for the world. This year our kiwi girl did us yet once again proud and placed 3rd in a very strong open class of 17 lovely b*tches. We are so ever grateful to her fantastic breeders.

As the journey slowly comes to an end, this year was the longest trip of my life to Crufts and back, after traveling over 8000Km and crossing 5 countries in high winds, snow, rain, cold temperatures and sometimes a little bit of sunshine but despite all this it was in the best company one could ever have together with our 4 legged friends.

We have met old friends and made new ones from across the globe.

Hats off to Keith Galea for an amazing job of staying behind the wheel through out the whole journey, Giancarlo Pregadio, Sandro Bonett Renee Rosamilia for the great company, sing alongs to kill a little bit of time and friendship during the trip, Giuseppe Biagiotti, Francesco Biagiotti L'adriatico for their warmest of welcomes, breakfast, lunch and hospitality. Also new Italian friends Pasetti Fabio and Gabriella Pensotti, it was so nice to meet you guys. X
Also thanks to Ivan Calleja for providing transport.

Day 1 - Gundog day, , and our gorgeous kiwi girl Laga - BIS BISS WW20 RSCE20 Multi Ch Int CH Jnr Ch Chesterhope Lady Lagertha picked up a lovely 3rd place in Open Class out of a very strong lineup of quality bi***es, under pointer specialist Mrs Geraldine O'Driscoll.

We are very pleased with the outcome of this exciting day, mostly because now Laga have also earned her UK stud book number. Credit goes to her breeders Diane O'Neill and Paige O'Neill for breeding this special girl and sharing her with us. We are so ever grateful to this, you know our thoughts guys ### ❤️

What a great way to end another day at the show with the greatest of companies and friends. Our kiwi girl Laga - WW20 BISS RSCE20 Int.Ch Multi Ch. Jnr.Ch Chesterhope Lady Lagertha never ceases to surprise us.
Just 2 weeks away from the greatest dog show on earth and she brings home a magnificent BEST in SHOW under judge Ms.Margaret Coran O Gorman from Ireland.

We are so chuffed by this result and although it is not the best of times at the moment we still cannot stress enough that most credit goes to her most dedicated breeders Diane O'Neill and Paige O'Neill for breeding such a superb specimen of the breed. We are so ever grateful to them for sharing Laga with us. We love you guys.

This win is dedicated to Chesterhope Pointers after being devastated by the terrible flooding in , , New Zealand ❤️

Next stop and we seriously cannot wait for it!

And that's a wrap... 2022... what a year!
It gave me so much but taken a lot more.

We met and made a lot of friends, had family reunions, great experiences and adventures in the dog world, and of course so many ups and downs.

Unfortunately I have lost a true friend, my greatest mentor and person I always looked up to - my dear father. It was very hard to accept and it will take some time to sink in.

We really hope next year be better then the past one and wish all our friends and families, near and far a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year 2023 ❤️
