Goodbye, Ollie 😢💔💔

Today, our dearest Ollie has returned to his Maker. He was our first cat and the rock of our fur family. Words feel so inadequate but I’ll try to honor him with this tribute to the beautiful days he gave us.

Ollie came to us as the tiniest kitten—so small yet so full of personality. It didn’t take long for him to leave a permanent stamp on each of our hearts. He was the most amazing boy, always following us whenever we stepped out and he was always there to welcome us when we got back home😔

Mealtime was always an adventure. Every day, as we prepared his food, he would rub against our legs so enthusiastically I have almost fallen over several times. He never liked being carried much, but that only made him even cuter and more irresistible🥹. All cats are clean but Ollie was on a different level- he had an entire grooming routine and if we ever touched him during his grooming process he would start all over again🥲 He always smelled like a garden of roses—no exaggeration. Sometimes a hug from Ollie was all I needed when I was going through a hard time..

Ollie never bothered anyone; he was like the serious older brother who could not be taken seriously enough🥴 Looking back I wish I had not taken the time I had with him for granted😭

Julian and Izzy, his dear friends, will miss him deeply. His brother Percy, who has been by his side almost all his life, and his sister Baby, who learned all her tricks from him, will undoubtedly feel his absence too. (I say "brother" and "sister" not by blood, but because their bond was that close.)

Fly high, sweet boy. Home will never be the same without you. 😓 Our hearts ache with the void of your absence. Until we meet again, إن شاء الله. 💔

8 week-old Mimi having a go at her raw😍 Our kittens are fed a balanced diet of wet, dry and poached proteins.
