We've only been here for a short time. But life can toss us all around when we aren't expecting it.

Unfortunately we are closing up shop in three weeks as I will be returning to the US with my husband for some years. I am in the process of training a replacement but if you would like your dog groomed one last time by me please book your appointments right away as openings will fill up fast.

Please keep an eye out for us to return bigger and better in a few years 🙏

Chloe and Panda won't be troubling their owners by shedding all over the house anymore.

Chloe (top) got a trim and Panda (bottom) got a shave. And I must say, they both look much happier 😉

When booking an appointment what question can you expect us to ask you? Some things we will ask is your dog's name, your location (if it's a home visit), what kind of grooming you want done, and to see proof of a current rabies vaccination.

All of this information we get from you goes into our secure client database for future use so we don't have to bother you with such questions every time you visit.

Don't want a full shave or short trim? Talk to us about scissor trims. With this style we only trim up the long fur on the belly, bum, and legs to give the dog a clean smooth look.

Some might wonder, why do we need to completely shave your dog bald? They look so much cuter when they are fluffy.

We love a cute fluffy dog as much as the next guy, and are more then happy to do trims instead of shaves. But sometimes it's just not possible or practical. Matting like what is pictured happens when a dog has not been brushed for sometime. These knots in the fur can be hard, or often times impossible to brush out. Trying to brush out a mat is also painful for the dog as it pulls on the skin. Similar to trying to brush out dreadlocks, ouch!

The only solution in this case is to shave underneath it. This is the most effective and painless way of removing a mat. We try our best when shaving a dog to leave their tail, ears, and face long and cute. But if the matting is too bad we are forced to shave it all off

So please do not get upset with us when we tell you we will have to also shave the tail and ears. We are only doing what is best for the dog 🙏 the fur will grow back completely within 4-5 months and we won't have to complete shave it next time, as long as you have brushed your dog at home weekly 😉

(Milo here is just an example. His owner specifically asked for a complete shave)

Did you know that not keeping your dog brushed can actually cause a lot of pain and discomfort for your furry friend?

Matting (think dreadlocks) in the coat traps in heat and moisture. A perfect environment for bacteria to grow and cause skin infections. This can even attract fly maggots, gross! Aside from irritated skin, matting also pulls on the dog's skin tightly which is very uncomfortable. Imagine trying to live your life while wearing a winter jacket that's two sizes too small for you. How uncomfortable!

To prevent this from happening try to brush your dog at least twice a week. NEVER try to cut out a mat yourself that is close to the skin, you can easily cut your dog. If your dog is already matted give us a call and we will get your pooch cleaned up so you can start fresh.

There is nothing we love more then giving a dog the comfort that they deserve. We are based in Lilongwe and are excited to hear from you!
