Ahhhh... The joys and trials of starting a new business!

Last week was our second week. And a major success. People really want healthy, good food for their beloved pets!

🥰We love that!!

BUT.....

We operated at a loss, since the price of meat, beef and fish went through the roof! 😔
Nomatter what, we refuse to compromise on quality or QUANTITY!

- In every 3 liters of chicken soup for the dog soul, there is an ENTIRE chicken.
- in Every 5 liters we pack a whopping 4 kgs of beef
- in every 5 liters of casper's fish frenzy there is 4kgs of fish.

Because many of you are buying in bulk, to feed your pets throughout the week, our goal is to make sure you get value.

We had no choice but to increase our prices - yep, so soon after launch 😩.

We tried all week to find wholesale organic meat farmers who would appreciate our ultimate goal of helping homeless, sick, and hungry animals and perhaps give us a bit of deal... No luck.

We hope you all understand and stick with us!!

Bottom Line: Thank you all so much for all the positive feedback about the food! We received so many messages of support and excitement! 🦴🦴

KIKI...

She wasn't loving any of the dog treats on the market. Not even the gourmet ones found at upscale organic markets and bakeries in town.

And, after a brief love affair, she started to throw up the cans and sachets of wet food and wouldn't eat them anymore...! 😤

We know a raw diet is supposedly optimal, yet a couple of local vets advised us to be very careful about where we get the meat and suggested we may want to cook it enough to eliminate potential parasites... So that was it.

We decided that our best friend - this 4 month old (at the time) playful puppy full of s***k and licks, was going to benefit from the same premiere quality, organic food my husband and I eat. BUT...

With no salt. No sugars, no grains or gluten. Just pure nutritional goodness.

Thus was born Kiki's Gourmet Organics!

Hola! We recently went live with our initiative to raise money to help the various people and companies in LaPaz that help homeless, abandoned pets, such as Perroton La Paz et Al.

Our ultimate goal is to provide a pet sanctuary and "park" where these animals can be cared for, be safe, get the help they need, and have fun with other animals.
