Desparate situation in Philadelphia!!!! Please help as much or in any way that you can!!!
Friends, I am asking for your shares and prayers! Buddy, Teffany, and Britany lived their entire lives with their owner and were loved and well cared for. But the owner became homeless and was unable to keep them or take them back even with assistance. What makes it even harder is that Buddy is blind and possibly deaf, and the other two are possibly hearing impaired.
They are in Philadelphia at ACCT Philly, and Buddy is so confused. When in a kennel without his siblings he would panic spin - it wasn't him being kennel crazy, which many will assume.
It was because while the shelter can be scary for many dogs, for dogs with no vision it's terrifying. Their sense of smell is already heightened and having no sight and smelling all the shelter smells is overwhelming.
Thankfully, the three were able to be put in a kennel together, because Buddy will not even walk without being around his sisters. But once with them, he's a different dog.
These dogs are smart, and Buddy will adapt quickly to a new home as long as he has a sibling with him. But with the shortage of fosters and adopters, the shelter doesn’t know how they are going to find a rescue or someone out there who can give him and at least one of his siblings a home together.
These dogs need a rescue who will commit to keeping Buddy with a sibling, or that unicorn adopter who has a yard and the ability to provide the care Buddy and his sisters need. Blind dogs can lead normal lives! They map out new space and their other senses compensate!
🐾Please spread the word and help find someone for Buddy and his sisters, and if you're interested please fill out this form and they’ll contact you: Christie Keith Here is an application! That way we can get some info up front! https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ACCT/Dog
If you are a rescue that can commit to keeping Buddy with a sibling and can take them, there is a $2000 donation to help provide support to finding them a home.

And as always, if your pets, or any animals you know -- the sick, the injured, the homeless, the lost, the fearful, the abused -- or the people who love and care for them, could use help, tell us in the comments and Teresa and I will hold them in our prayers.
Please feel free to pass this message to anyone else you know who might want to receive prayers as well.
And we also invite all of you to join us in praying that the suffering will be healed, the grieving will be comforted, the homeless will be adopted, the abused will be rescued, and the lost will be found. Amen.
