Spotlight on our 4 yr old rescued Coydog, Whiskey Rogers and what we do here at BAJA Strays🔦🐶
In early 2022 hubby Carlo found this poor, malnourished puppy who had been bound with wire and thrown into the bushes near our Sanctuary here in Santa Cruz... (we will NEVER understand some humans cruelty towards these beautiful animals/soulmates).

He brought her home and we got to work doing what we do: snatching from death and nurturing back to life. One by one 🙏🏻She rebounded in a most beautiful way and has been an integral part of welcoming other abandoned puppies and teaching them how to just be dogs. With love, patience and enthusiasm, she has helped us raise so many. A friend to all.

What a good teacher and beautiful spirit she is. Loyal, loving, and such a good girl. We treasure her as she is a gift to us. They all are!

We want to share her story as it is a happy one and it deserves to be told. A few photos of her transformation, adventures here and those she has helped save. 💞👣🐾

These horses wander freely, many times past our place. They have an owner, but are never corralled. It's cool to see them, they're beautiful. We love horses here, as well 🤗
