Day 44 | Things I Know To Be True

Do you think if I got this tattooed on my forehead so I saw it every day I would begin to actually believe that it’s true?

(In theory I know that it is in fact already true; I am already enough because we are all enough, exactly as we are, no matter what. But in practice the belief that I am NOT doing enough (and therefore more broadly just am not enough) is more pervasive and sneaky, and I would like to learn how to let go of that unhelpful belief about myself! Because ugh! Am I right?!)

Day 5 |
Inspired by my very own naughty cat, Anika, who does very naughty things like scratch on the outside of G’s door in the middle of the night to wake her up so I’ll get up to give her food, swipes my glasses off my bedside table (also to wake me up so I’ll give her food), pokes me in the lip with one claw while I’m sleeping (guess why?!), and is generally just an adorable pain in the neck.
