Hi everyone,

I wanted to update you all on Elsa's health. A few months ago, she was diagnosed with stage 1 kidney disease, which was a result of the pain medications she had been on. Dr. Melissa has been closely monitoring her condition and recommended that we adjust her diet.

After a lot of research, I made changes to Elsa’s diet, and I’m happy to share that her condition has now improved significantly(kidney reading back to normal) Not only is she healthier and more energetic, but her skin condition has also shown great improvement. Since this new diet has worked so well for Elsa, we thought it might be helpful to share it with other fur parents whose babies are dealing with stage 1 kidney disease.

Please note that this recipe is formulated based on Elsa’s current weight of 7.2 kg, and it is divided into 3 meals per day.

Happy 2025 everyone and THANK YOU so much for following Elsa’s journey for over 10 years now. I bet many of you must be wondering why Elsa is not dressed up and dolled up in her pretty dresses like she used to. So I am here to explain …

Elsa loved dressing up and posing for cameras because she knows she is gorgeous. But since she was diagnosed with a condition of which she has fluid bag is growing in her skull, Elsa dislikes taking pictures or videos but still wants to look pretty wearing her dresses. However, about a year back, Elsa started to have aches and pains in her joints. This comes with her age. So dressing up would mean lifting her paws and that has been painful for her.

As always, mummy and nanny will never force her to do anything so again what Elsa wants, Elsa gets. All we want is for Elsa to be happy.

She is still on her pain medications but being monitored closely by her doctor monthly and her acupunctures weekly.

Elsa is still a very happy and spoiled little bunny so please don’t worry - she is as bossy as always.

Once again - THANK YOU dear friends for following Elsa’s journey. We will keep everyone posted on Elsa’s progress through this page. HAPPY NEW YEAR again with lots of love from all of us here at home.

Mummy just got back from her business travels and asked me for kisses. I was teasing her a lot and no kisses yet. Let’s see how I feel tomorrow. Need to play hard to get since she left me home with nanny for a week.

Had my monthly checkup with my favorite doctor today - Dr Melissa Aw. Got my half yearly blood test done waiting for my results. Thank you Dr Melissa. I always look forward to seeing you in a months time. Have a good day everyone. Love always from Elsa Faith.

Got my weekly acupuncture done today. This time doctor managed to use the machine on me. (Gave Dr. Liu a tough time everytime she wanted to use the machine). Mummy said I am a good girl today. Hi everyone,

Gave mummy and nanny a scare yesterday. Right after my tcmc (acupuncture) session when I came home I was in pain. Mummy and nanny panicked and quickly rushed me to see my favorite Dr Melissa. I had joint issues (mummy and nanny were relieved that it was not my head/brain issues). Back to some pain meds for a week before seeing Dr Melissa again. Thankfully I am still able to be bossy towards mummy and nanny. Once a boss always a BOSS.

It’s my 10th anniversary home with mummy and nanny today and we had a small celebration at home. We had grandma Lilian, grandma Ada, grandma Nancy, grandpa Mahendran and aunty Marina here to celebrate this special day with me. I had a cake that I shared with my fur sibling - Holly, fur uncle - Snow and fur Aunts - Gorgeous and Pretty.

Mummy and Nanny are both grateful for another year of celebration with Elsa and are both blessed having Elsa Faith in our lives.

Happy Birthday Elsa Faith. We love you so so much.

Dear everyone,

We have received messages asking how Elsa is. We sincerely apologize for not updating this page for almost a year. Let me update you a little bit about Elsa. Since our last post, we were busy with major renovation of our current home and had to move out temporarily. Mummy was busy juggling her time with her business trips and managing the renovation works at our house. When it was ready and we moved in 2 weeks before Christmas, Elsa had her attacks again. For those who doesn’t know, Elsa has this condition where she has growth(fluid bag) in her skull compressing her brain that causes intense pain. She has been on medication and had so far been under control. So when Elsa had her attack 2 weeks before Christmas, we had to rush her to the hospital. Whilst she was getting better, Elsa started having severe skin infection due to her low immunity and it took us months until recently for her to get better.

Long story short, Elsa is ok now. Back to her old self but she is still under pain medication (but reduced). Elsa is now seeing her specialist on monthly basis to make sure this is under control and is also seeing her TCMC doctor for her weekly acupuncture to help relief her pain. More updates on each of the pictures below.

Elsa is now back to her old self - bossy, demanding and as always - pampered. What Elsa wants, Elsa gets of course. We promise from now on, we will continue to post updates on Elsa and once again, our most sincere apologies for worrying all of you. Elsa is back and we will continue to update you if not daily we promise at least weekly. Love always - from Elsa Faith and her family.
