Dog : Xiao Hua RIP March - June 2020. This is Xiao Hua rescued by @terrence1919 In March 2020 she was spayed and waited for her forever home. But Xiao Hua did not get the chance to go to her forever home. Few days before she went to her new family something bad happened to her. She was poisoned by some evil cruel being in the form of human. The poor girl died a painful death. It may have been 3 years already since her passing but she has never been forgotten. Rescuer @terrence1919 This is Lucky. He is deserving of his name when he was spotted by the roadside and rescued by @terrence1919 Lucky was hit by a car and left paralyzed from waist down. He was taken to the vet immediately. His rescuer even bought a wheelchair for him. When he heard of a rescue / physiotherapy centre he didn’t hesitate to take him there. Lucky was taken in by the owner Cash Tong and he made a slow recovery over time. Now he is able to walk without his wheelchair and has become a fave and “big brother” there. This is the fairytale of another successful rescue by our good friend @terrence1919 Thank you Terrence for helping Lucky. In our hearts forever Bella Rescued 5 Feb 2017 ~ 3 Nov 2023Sisters Bella and Buttercup were rescued together in some bushes with the mother nowhere in sight. They ran to us happily as we scooped them up for a new better life. It was almost immediately both sisters were adopted. We kept in touch with the adopters throughout the years. It was on Friday 3/11 that we received the devastating news that our beautiful Bella has crossed over the rainbow bridge. The owner informed us that the vet said Bella had tick fever and was going blind since August. As she deteriorated she slowly lost the ability to walk and sadly passed on. For 7 years her owner gave her a wonderful home and a better life she deserved. This is a tribute to darling Bella who light up the lives of people she touched. This is a tribute to her for the world to know of her existence as all lives matter. You will be missed dearly our sweet Bella. Loving you forever Toffee Rescued on 10 June 2016 ~ 23 October 2023. Our beautiful girl Toffee left us today after struggling with kidney complications for over two weeks. We took her to the vet when she stopped eating. Her condition took a turn for the worse as she had to be on drip constantly in order to feel better and eat her food. It is very sad to see her once healthy body smiling face ravaged by the disease. It was 8 years ago we rescued her on 10 June 2016 when she was just a few months old running around looking for food alone. She was very friendly and immediately followed us back. She became one of the earlier dogs we rescued and is part of Cute Paws family until today. As the vet can’t do much for her anymore we took her back and decided to give her the best we can till her final days. We showered her with love and watched sadly as her health deteriorated daily. This morning she waited for us to come greet her. As soon as she saw her most loved person, she walked painfully to her and wagged her tail smiling weakly. We spent time with her telling her how much we love her. Then it’s time to get her ready to the vet for her daily drip. When we were ready to put her in the car, we saw Toffee had walked to a corner to lie down. As we tried to wake her, our sweet Toffee had passed away in her sleep peacefully. It touched our hearts to know she waited for us to see us for the last time. We now understand the warmness in her eyes when she looked at us this morning. She wanted to thank us for all the years we took her in and cared for her. It broke our hearts to know she loved us as much as we love her. She is such a beautiful angel. We will miss our darling Toffee so much. Until we meet again sweet Toffee you will always remain in our hearts forever. She became one of the earlier dogs we rescued and is part of Cute Paws family until today. As the vet can’t do much for her anymore we took her back and decided to give her the best we can till her final days. We showered her with love and watched sadly as her health deteriorated daily. This morning she waited for us to come greet her. As soon as she saw her most loved person, she walked painfully to her and wagged her tail smiling weakly. We spent time with her telling her how much we love her. Then it’s time to get her ready to the vet for her daily drip. When we were ready to put her in the car, we saw Toffee had walked to a corner to lie down. As we tried to wake her, our sweet Toffee had passed away in her sleep peacefully. It touched our hearts to know she waited for us to see us for the last time. We now understand the warmness in her eyes when she looked at us this morning. She wanted to thank us for all the years we took her in and cared for her. It broke our hearts to know she loved us as much as we love her. She is such a beautiful angel. We will miss our darling Toffee so much. Until we meet again sweet Toffee you will always remain in our hearts forever.
