Been seeing your cat scratching the ears non-stop? sometimes it can even cause a wounds around the ears?
When we look closely on their ear wax through ๐Ÿ”ฌ, we can see these tiny moving creatures living within your cat's ear.

These creature is called ๐‘ฌ๐’‚๐’“ ๐’Ž๐’Š๐’•๐’†๐’” or scientific name ๐‘ถ๐’•๐’๐’…๐’†๐’„๐’•๐’†๐’” ๐’„๐’š๐’๐’๐’•๐’Š๐’”, is barely visible to the naked eye and may be seen as a white speck moving against a dark background.
They are highly contagious by direct contact, thus advisable to treat all the cats in the household once a cat is positive. Ear mites can also infest dogs, rabbits, and ferrets.

To relieve and ease the discomfort, you are advise to bring them for a check when your pet is showing symptoms such as
- Coffee ground liked crusty ear wax
- Ear irritation, causing excessive scratching and head shaking
- Crusted rash around or in the ear - self inflicted from over scratching
- Ear pinna swell up like big blister curry puff - resulting from trauma to the blood vessels between the skin and cartilage
