Sudah berjuta kali cuba panjat Aries tetapi Aries masih dengan perangai psychonya. Aries is a chica with a split personality, a healthy contrast of she's about to kill me and baby baby I love you. 😂

Will they ever mate? Only time will tell.

I pray they do. Zveroboy's profile is magnificent and I'm sure it'll pass those Champion profile on to his offsprings. InsyaAllah.

Abu Daddy & Zveroboy.

Lama betul tak update sini. Bukan apa, selepas pemergian Gio, jiwa gua kacau setiap kali buka FB Acibell and nampak banyak gambar Gio.

Sekarang alhamdulillah dah tenang sikit. Zveroboy pun dah besar. Minggu lepas gua rasa Si Zvero ni mating dengan Aries, sebab ada bunyi2 ngauman Aries yang menyeramkan keluar dari bilik.

Semoga ada hasil. Alhamdulillah ala kulli hal.

On another note, gua masih mencari/menunggu female black silver scottishfold ns22 yg available untuk Acibell Cattery.

Pakcik sorang ni sibuk meow keliling rumah mencari abang Gio pada pagi keesokan hari setelah Gio meninggal.

Their brotherly bond is really strong as it was Gio who helped Zveroboy to adapt to new surroundings and was always ever present to play with him.

Gio passed away due to cardiac cachexia. It's genetics and sadly, irreversible. Which explains the limping and sudden weight loss.

Dr. Seuss once said "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened".

And that is how I feel about this loss. I am eternally grateful to have had Gio in my life. 💕

Life continues and insyaAllah we'll add another male scottishfold ns22 to the cattery to carry on Gio's legacy.

Pada 3:25pm tadi, Gio telah kembali bertemu dengan Penciptanya.

Innalillahwainnailaihirajiun.

Seakan tahu masanya sudah tiba, Gio datang menyapaku ketika aku sedang menonton tv. Matanya tajam memandangku sebelum beredar ke bawah meja tv. Disaat itu juga tiba2 seluruh badannya menjadi lumpuh.

Aku mengangkatnya dan meletakkannya diatas sofa sebelahku. Aku membelainya disaat dia bertarung dengan sakaratul maut dan membisikkan terima kasihku di telinganya atas kasih sayang yang dia telah curahkan kepadaku.

Aku redha atas pemergian Gio dan aku yakin Allah akan menggantikkannya dengan sesuatu yang lebih baik disisiNya.

Rest well, bright eyes, my angel, see you again in the hereafter.

Holding you is difficult today. You feel sharp and jagged. All shoulder blades and elbows. How I would love to round your edges. To make you smooth in my rock tumbler heart.

Gio is recovering well, alhamdulillah. I am so relieved that I didn't schedule Gio for surgery on his 'hip dysplasia'.

Get this. Apparently the vet diagnosed him wrong! It happens but what the f**k la kan. Turns out it was just an insect sting on his hind paw that made him limp around. I found that out last week when I noticed it on his paw.

Anyway, Gio is so comot right now and lost nearly 1kg. Currently he is at 5.3kg.

He is recovering well though and gaining back his appetite and insyaAllah will be back to his sexy self soon. Yay! 😁

1 year old today.

12 months on and you're already a compact medium sized British stud.

Paling manja, paling memilih makanan (nak daging mentah je), paling soleh (s**a sejadah 😂), paling boolat (kekadang dipanggil Bobot).

Ajaib. First time aku tengok Aries yang garang jadi lembut hari ini.

Bila dengan Zveroboy je mula start gedik menunjukkan ciri2 calon isteri mithali.

Hajat dihati hendak breed blacksilver marble Scottish tapi nampaknya insyaAllah blacksilver marble British yang akan menyusul dahulu.

Bujang terlajak sekor ni terpaksa gi checkup di Kota Damansara Veterinary Centre pagi tadi.

Potential hip dysplasia kata doctor.

Hip dysplasia selalunya terjadi kepada kucing yang bersaiz besar seperti mainecoon. Jarang terjadi kepada baka kucing yang lain.

But Gio is not an ordinary scottishfold. He is a massive monster. Bak kata breedernya "Supermale".

Besar. Kacak. Sasa. Berketrampilan. Konek kuat. Jubur harum.

So for now kita cuba dulu a few medication. Hopefully tak perlu surgery.
