This week we faced a heartbreaking case💔

Nulife veterinarians viewed the video of cat and it’s test report and discussed that the result was a compound FIP(Wet form + Neuro).

However, the cat's doctor said that it is not necessarily FIP, that ascites is not necessarily FIP, that AG:0.6 is not necessarily FIP, and that a cat with anaemia, jaundice, kidney problems and inflammation of the pancreas is not necessarily a complication of FIP.

The cat owner then did a FIPV testkit and our doctor saw that there were double bars with very light lines, meaning the cat was diagnosed. Unfortunately the patient cat's doctor said no it was just a single bar

Nulife vets advised the patient to use the reverse method, i.e. to give the cat the gs for three days and then confirm the FIP diagnosis if the cat improved, as the Nulife gs has no effect or harm on healthy cats.

The owner was hesitant to buy Nulife as the owner's doctor insisted it was not FIP, and I reminded the owner for several days to try it and not to miss her only chance, but only received a "still in discussion" response. I told the owner the cat couldn't last longer than two days without an injection.

This morning I gave up and told the owner that there was no need to hesitate and that it was too late for the cat to get the injection today. The owner replied that yes, the cat had just passed away.

This is not the first such situation to occur.
I simply hope that the clients who come to Nulife to seek advice trust our doctors and our judgment. Our doctors have been specialising in FIP for many years and that is why we ask customers to fill in the cat information form, take a 15 second video of the cat and provide us with the blood test report.

The treatment of every cat is different, therefore there is no absolute fixed dose. We don't give up a cat in order to maximize its survival rate, only if the owner is willing to trust us.

If your doctor recommends a different dose
than we do, please trust us.
