Recently, we brought Mimi to Vet to remove her overgrown nail, which has punctured her paw pad and caused bleeding.

It was our first time learning about overgrown nail for our cat, next time we will ensure that we trim the nails regularly to avoid them curving into the paw pad.

Last week, I received a question from one of our members about cats. Apparently, it seems like a common issue facing by many household families in Malaysia.Therefore, today we are going to talk about the effective ways to stop cats p**p in our garden. Truly, we love cats, but having cats frequently p**ping in our garden can be frustrating.

After some extensive reading and research, here are some great tips to share, hope there can save your garden from invading by the unwanted guests.

Tips #1 Motion detector and sprinkler, when cats enter the area water will be sprayed, highly effective if you have a larger compound.
Tips #2 Ultrasonic noise deterrent - Irritating to cats but is almost inaudible for humans, effective to tackle an area within the noise boundary.
Tips #3 Fence and netting, good choice to protect the fencing area only.
Tips #4 Odor repellent , such as lavender, peppermint, cinnamon or citrus chose one of the scent to mix with water and spray on the ground, some cats dislike the scents, cost effective way with regular effort to spray at garden.

As you can see there are countless ways to try to stop cats from choosing our garden as their litter box, our goal is to make our garden less appealing place for the cats to come to p**p without causing any harm to the little uninvited guests.
