KKPSS x Pet Kingdom Expo would like to inform that if you are bringing a dog during the expo (5th-8th July 2024), there will be a drop-off point at the loading bay to ease your journey 😊
1. Drive up until the guard house at SICC loading bay. It is located at the side of SICC after the mini traffic light.
2. You will see a tent for canine drop-off registration.
3. i) If you are a solo driver, you will need to go down from the car and buckle your dog's leash onto their collars/harness and bring them out of the car.
ii) If you have a 2nd person in the car, only the passenger may go down and handle the dogs to pass to our Drop-off officers.
4. A tag will be given with numbering and details on it. You are required to fill in the details according to the Drop-off officers instructions.
5. Please wear the lanyard to avoid it being lost or a penalty of RM50 will be imposed per tag. Our Canine Parking officer will need the lanyard back if you need to retrieve your dog back.
6. Drivers may drive directly to the basement parking to avoid traffic congestion and use the elevator to head up to Kinabatangan Hall and pick up your dogs.
7. Please note that the canine parking is FREE for the first hour or first entry of the day and will only be charged RM20 the following hour and RM5 for every other subsequent 30 mins.
8. Dog pampers are encouraged to be used before arriving SICC. Doggie bags MUST be brought by all dog owners.

TNRM Projects
(Trap, Neuter, Release, Manage)
This post will be written in BM (Bahasa Malaysia) so that it is more easier for some people to understand the importance of TNRM and what we are doing.
KKPSS team x Miracle's Mission Borneo (kami2 juga itu orang yg sama) sudah lama melakukan projek TNRM di KK.
Projek TNRM ni dilakukan apabila ada request/permintaan dari individu atau pihak yang risau tentang populasi anjing yang berada di tempat tertentu dan ingin mencari jalan solusi yang tidak bertentangan dengan Enakmen Kebajikan Haiwan 2015.
Projek TNRM bertujuan untuk menangkap anjing liar tersebut dengan cara berperikemanusiaan dan bekerjasama bersama doktor2 haiwan di KK untuk mengembirikan/memandulkan anjing tersebut untuk mengawal dan mengurangkan populasi anjing. Selepas anjing suda sembuh dari surgeri, mereka akan dilepaskan semula di kawasan yang sama ataupun di pindahkan ke lain tempat yang lebih selamat dan sesuai untuk anjing itu.
Tempat pemindahan harus di atur dan di cari oleh tukang lapor dan tempat itu harus selamat dan juga tidak bertentang dengan Enakman Kebajikan Haiwan 2015.
Kos2 spt penangkapan, transport, surgeri dan lain-lain harus di tanggung oleh tukang lapor dengan cara fundraising ataupun bayar sendiri jika mampu.
Terdapat ramai suda bukti di negeri2 dan juga negara2 lain tentang projek TNRM dan rata2 semua adalah effective utk mengawal dan mengurangkan populasi anjing liar. Salah satu contoh adalah SSPCA Sarawak, IAPWA Penang dan Langkawi.
Populasi anjing liar berlaku apabila tuan anjing tidak bertanggungjawab untuk memandulkan anjing mereka dan biar mereka mengawan dengan anjing lain di luar perkarangan rumah ataupun membuang anjing ke pasar awam.
Pusat perlindungan haiwan tidak akan dapat menerima setiap kes haiwan ke dalam pusat mereka disebabkan kekangan ekonomi, kekurangan tempat, kawasan dan lain2. Sebab itulah projek TNRM adalah untuk menolong kes-kes yang di luar kapasiti NGO/pusat perlindungan haiwan di KK.

Mini Vlog of the Kinabalu Gentle Giants during the Paw-up event on 10th March 2024 at Likas Square Apartment.
We were invited by Terra Tech Borneo to promote the awareness of the importance of having pet tags for lost pets and also to educate and bring awareness about Large dogs and how to care for them to the public ❤️
Kinabalu Gentle Giants manage to fundraise RM310 during the event which is enough to neuter & vaccinate 1 female stray dog before she gives birth on the streets again 🙏🏻 Thank you to each of you who came and supported our cause! It was amazing to meet so many friendly faces and friendly paws again!

❤️ First Feeding Station for Strays! ❤️
We are proud to announce that we have launched our first prototype feeding station for stray dogs!
This station has fed more than 10 dogs in Tuaran today and we will continue to monitor it daily 🙏🏻
For the time being, a container for drinking water will be added at the side.
Whoever sees this, you may help us to refill it using only DRY KIBBLES and refill the water container 😊
We can also build a feeding station and send it to a requested area for a small price just to cover our materials, transportation and labor skills 😊🙏🏻
If you are interested to donate food for our strays, you may also purchase it at any pet shop and let us know so we can pick it up 😊

*SUNSET BEACH CLEANING WITH PETS: Giving Back to Mother Nature ❤️✨️
KK Pet & Stray Services collaborated once again with Pet Kingdom Expo this time to organized a Sunset Beach Clean-up with Pets at Tanjung Aru Beach 3 (next to Shangrila) on 6th January 2024!
The beach clean-up's main objective was to give back to nature while cleaning up the beach and at the same time to create a bond between our pets, organizers, society engagement and to promote the next Pet Kingdom Expo event happening on the 6th-8th July 2024 at Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) Kota Kinabalu! 😊 hope to see you there!
A competition was also included to whoever collected the most rubbish will win a Pet Taxi Voucher sponsored by KK Pets & Strays services 😊✌🏻

Why it's important to have slow feeders during boarding 😊
Some of our furry clients are the real definition of FOOD LOVER just like Theodore ❤️ and there is nothing wrong with that!
However as a pet service provider, it is important to have knowledge in basic health and how bloatiness can be life threatening or harmful for pups or adult dogs and to prepare proper tools before anything happens ❤️

Coffe a beautiful stray dog from Tuaran was scheduled in our TNRM (Trap, Neuter, Release and Manage) Program, but unfortunately we were too late 💔
We are ensure of the cause of death but it was definitely not from a car accident and the bushes where Coffee calls her home was cut and destroyed by human beings a few days before her date to neuter.
It is a sad day for us as we wish we have enough manpower and financials to help pets and strays as fast as we can, but we are also limited and can only do so much.
Please remember, we are not doing this for free and every case that comes our way will need proper budget planning, experianced manpower, transportation and liasons with veterinary clinics.
This case was suppose to be sponsored by the Kinabalu Gentle Giants fundraising during Pet Kingdom Expo last November 2023.
KK Pet & Stray Services gives back 10% of profit to the strays that needs help, which means whoever is supporting our services are also supporting and donating towards an incredible cause 😊

As most of you know, Pet Kingdom Expo was happening in KK and we were more than happy to support the first and largest ever pet event in East Malaysia 😍
Kudos to all the organizers and people involved!
KK Pet & Stray Services had the opportunity to collaborate with Brother Guidz Jr Cayuban Montimor, his beautiful wife Sister Rose and nephew under KaPetz lovers to combine our XL dogs thus creating a charity movement called Kinabalu Gentle Giants to raise funds for the strays in Sabah 😍
People lined up to donate and took thousands of pictures with our mascots :

After 3 days of hard work and raising funds, we are proud to announce that a total of RM4390 has been raised by the Gentle giants with the support of everyone who took pictures with them 😍😍😍
The funds will go fully to the strays of our Trap, Neuter, Release and Manage Projects under Miracle's Mission and one of it will be to help the strays in Tuaran fed by Jonah Tai Hwa Chen 😁 video updates will be given of our next adventures to help more strays!

Last Saturday, we organized a simple Beach Clean-up with dogs at Tg Aru Beach 3 (near Shangrila Resort) ❤️
The aim and purpose of it was to start a positive dog community & support group in KK that dog owners can join activities with their dogs in giving back or helping nature. At the same time their dogs get to socialize, have physical & mental simulation and have some fun spending time with their owners 😊
Few months ago, Tg Aru almost "banned/restricted" dogs from coming to the beach. But because of dedicated people (like Julia Chan and many others) advocating for dog's rights, the restriction has been lifted.
Here we are with our own dogs, ready to prove that the dog community can bring a positive impact and by not being a nuisance to anybody especially in a stereotype country.
We ensured we brought our own dog waste bags if they "accidently" did their business, ensured all dogs are calm & behaving properly and most importantly dog owners know how to handle their own dogs in public accordingly ❤️

Classes will be in groups of 3 per session. We now have open slot for Group 3, every Tuesday starting at 6pm- 7.30pm, Loch 11 Likas.
We are using positive reinforcement type that also includes reward giving and praises.
Owners are required to bring and ensure your dogs have proper leash (not retractable), collars/safety harness, doggie poo bags, water bowl and own high valued treats for your own dogs during training.
Dogs with serious behavioral issues will be opt for one-on-one sessions. All transparency of healthy & case history must be informed to us.
