This is Lily, she was diagnosed with wet FIP in October last year when she was just a kitten. She stayed with us for 3 months, bravely battled FIP and emerged victorious!

𝗞𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗞𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗼𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗵 𝟮.𝟬

We are thrilled to announce that our recent low-cost neutering event was a success. Our target was to neuter 100 cats over 2 days, on the 24th and 25th of January 2024.

Thanks to the cooperation and participation of wonderful pet owners like you, we were able to safely deliver all the cats home after their procedures.

We are grateful to everyone who took part in this initiative to help control the cat population in Kuching North.

A special mention goes to Kak Zarina and Kak Ros from Geng Pusak Jalanan Sarawak, who reached out to us to collaborate and coordinated the first day of the campaign.

Lastly, we would like to thank WSAVA - World Small Animal Veterinary WSAVA Animal Wellness & Welfare Committee for the prize money we received, which greatly contributed to making the campaign more affordable for the general public.

Cute Chuchu came in for castration. (neutering in male cat)

Neutering can stop tomcat from wandering around and getting into fights during mating season. This lowers the chance of getting FIV (Feline form of HIV) and Leukemia through bite wounds.
Testicular cancer is eliminated. Spraying problem is avoided if procedure is done at earlier stage of life before they developed this behaviour.

Castration can be done as early as 5 months when both testicles have descended into sc***um and the cat is of decent body weight.
