【Update: POPPY IS SAFE! 】🥰

Turns out the person who rescued the dog thought the dog was abandoned outside MR DIY. They took it to the management but it was closed around 9:30pm. Since they are Pomeranian owners themselves, they decided to bring the dog back home and thought to bring the dog back to 163 Retail Park the next day.

What's unfortunate is both the rescuer & owner went to the management of 163 Retail Park and the management didn't tell both parties that Poppy is being looked for, so that left us the impression Poppy was taken away unlawfully and this online search undoubtedly made it inconvenient for the rescuer's reputation.

As Poppy is now safe and sound, lets just end this as a little drama of the day. And we will remind the owner, a foreigner, do not ever leave the dog unattended anymore.

Thanks a million to everyone for helping to keep Poppy safe, especially the rescuer who found herself in a hot stove for rescuing a dog. 🥰

【Our friend Poppy is kidnapped. 】😡😭😭

Poppy's mommy was running errand @ 163 Retail Park last night (August 22) and due to Mr. DIY's No-Pet policy, she had to leave the Poppy at the door momentarily. However, she quickly met her nightmare when she realized Poppy's carriage was no longer there when she came back out from the shop just moment later.

As we reviewed the shop's surveillance camera, we identified the faces of the kidnappers and they took Poppy away right after they left the shop.

As of now, Poppy's family is still in touch with the mall's management and PDRM and we will update you if they have more information from their end.

Please spread the word to look for these three individuals so we can bring Poppy back home safely.

This is the kind of post we wish we don't have to share. It makes us feeling tremendous frustration, anger and also very sad because cases like this kept happening, and its the kind of incident that can and should be prevented. We can't ever imagine how the owner is feeling right a casual trip for grooming turns into a nightmare sending their furkid to a gall*w. 😭

🔔 If you send your pawkids to grooming centers, please make sure the groomers DO NOT leave their furry clients unattended on grooming table. I have personally seen many amateur groomers done this (luckily nothing happened to the dogs).

Passengers can now take pets on Airport Link trains.

The Airport Link train service, which runs between Makkasan and Suvarnabhumi international airport, has launched Thailand's first Pet Travel Service.

The rules for travelling with a pet are:
1. The service is available Monday to Friday from
10am to 3pm and from 8pm to midnight, and on weekends from 5.30am to midnight.
1. Passengers with pets can travel only in the pet-travel-service carriage.
2. Pets allowed on board include dogs, cats, birds and tropical fish but must not weigh more than 10kg.
3. Each passenger may bring only one pet on board.

All must be in cages or bags, which owners are not allowed to place on the passenger seats.

Syed Najam Hassan, a Pakistani-Canadian philanthropist residing in Calgary, has launched the first free outdoor food bank for pets, which became a major hit after the success of Multicultural Street Libraries and Free Food Banks for People .

The concept behind this idea is that pets are an important part of society. As an animal lover himself, he has a cat at home that he sees as "just like a family member."

Hassan noticed that many families in economic distress are unable to support their pets and often face the painful decision to drop them off at shelters and rescue facilities due to their new economic situation.

People who have difficulties paying bills, mortgages, rent, food, medicines, and other expenses often find that there is nothing left over for proper pet care. Consequently, they often have to face the heartbreaking loss of the comfort and company of a beloved pet.

The Free Community Outdoor Food Bank for Pets is a response from caring volunteers to these families in tough times. It aims to prevent the loss of pets by offering assistance to individuals or families experiencing financial challenges or hardships.

Syed lives in Calgary and has been serving Canada with his team for many years. For the betterment of society, he has donated 39 Multicultural Street Libraries, 14 free food banks for people, 2 free clothing banks, and other initiatives for new immigrants, refugees, and struggling families. His journey in Canada began with settlement challenges, inspiring him to assist others facing similar situations.

Hassan, an award winner, is a positive force, showcasing Pakistan globally through his volunteer services. Syed's ultimate mission is to promote love and unity among people, transcending race, color, religion, and ethnic backgrounds. He aims to strengthen communities and make Canada a better place for all.

Anyone visited The Dusun lately and lost their pet dog there?

We were at the villa and met this beautiful baby this morning. I thought it belongs to one of the guests in the resort and was playing a bit with him. However, it's not until hours later I asked the receptionist about this dog and they told me this dog visited the resort for a few days already. However, when I tried to go back to look for her, she was no longer in the area.

She understands simple command like "hand" and "sit" so she is definitely not there to guard the villa. I suspect one of the guests that visited the villa or any villas nearby lost their pet dog.

Anyone has any clue to find the owner, please let us know.
