Just a random photo up here to get the page active again.

This photo presents how life has been on the other side as we are building a start-up from ground-up, it's not easy task.

We stepped down from rescuing as many know for mental health reasons as well, but feeding strays and occasional TNRs doesn't stop.

And this is why we are getting active again. As the "occasional" TNR is not enough as recently, cat numbers in our neighborhood have suddenly risen šŸ˜

This gives us anxiety, so we realize we need to, no matter what, balance more time out to take care of the neighborhoods.

Otherwise, our burnouts trying to balance life, business, career, relationships, finances, households, our own kids, ourselves and most of our our own strays in our communities and neighborhoods will be 10x worse.

TNR cannot stop. Please take care of your neighborhoods or support those that do ā¤ļø

PS - this photo sums how it's been feeling since 2023 ...

Urgent Foster Needed. We are doing this post as this is a past lovely senior boarding cat we have boarded before, and his owner is stuck in another country.

ā€-------------------

We are urgently seeking a palliative care home for our sweetest and most easy-going cat Domino. ā¤ļø

Domino is the gentlest and most calm, loving young senior. Please don't be fooled by her initial grumpy appearanceā€”she's actually the sweetest cat you'll ever meet! All she craves is your love and affection, and she absolutely adores being cradled and hugged and is the happiest cat on earth. She loves her humans immensely.

Domino would thrive in a home where she can be the only cat, as a stressful, high-energy environment can trigger her own fur-pulling behaviors. She's actually incredibly low-maintenance, requiring medication just a few times a week, which can be easily added to her food. Speaking of food, she's a voracious eater who happily gobbles up every meal, so medications can be added as food toppers!

Due to her FIV+ status, she has an inflamed mouth hence, this lovely senior girl will need lifelong medication to manage discomfort and regular veterinary follow-ups to monitor. If you're someone who can provide the love, attention, and consistent care she deserves, we would be forever grateful. Opening your heart and home to her palliative care journey will ensure she lives out her golden years in comfort and surrounded by compassion.

Do help us find this incredibly adorable cat, the perfect home she deserves. Together, we can make a world of difference for this deserving sweetheart and senior. If you are in Klang Valley, Malaysia, please DM us to enquire.

We are fully booked until May 2023.Ā

The time has also come, where we will be stopping our boarding services after May 2023 until further notice.

Thereā€™s a lot of changes coming and a lot on our hands, more than we can handle. We want to be able to give the proper care and attention to everything that needs it.Ā

Do stay tuned, as we are in discussion of a possibleĀ  boarding project mid to end of next year where we can acquire proper help and standards we can trust to care for our boarding communityĀ  and cats we will miss dearly and already miss since we have scaled down.Ā

As many of you may also know, I have also stepped back from rescuing for my mental health sake. TNR will never stop, and this will be continuedĀ  privately as it never ends in our own communities.Ā

āļø My only ounce of sanity I have left, is to support my wonderful team at . For adoptions/ fostering, please head to their page.

FIP will also stay close to heart and I am still happy to help consult or provide guidance on FIP for those who need it.Ā

This page will stay active to support rescue cases with my Allergic Rescuers Team, and supporting the rescue community of those whom we trust. Also other posts, hopefully can be entertaining and always educating and bringing more awareness.

Stay tuned and stay connected. Thank you to our community šŸ™Ā ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

Stray Animals

Like old junk, broken and useless,
Dodging blows, starving and freezing, in the street they leave you, without looking back.

And, from that moment on, you live condemned to walk aimlessly or to be caged, with no more company than loneliness.

I curse the men who abandoned you, after stealing your freedom, and, now without them, you wander lost, as you do not know how to care for yourselves, ungrateful, they deny you livelihood and refuge, and in the street they leave you.... with no roof and no bread.

This was a sculpture in Spain, shared to me by a good foster of ours /rescuer of from her recent trip.

This is the life of strays. šŸ’”

So much truth to this, if only more people could see what we see on the frontline of all the cases, animals and situations, and feeling helpless at times we can't save everyone, it's overwhelming and sad.

One of my favorite moments in rescuing is always the first moment bringing in a rescue under good shelter. The transformative part. Offering them their first good nutritious meal, watching them eat, giving them water, watching them drink, cleaning them up, and giving them a comfy bed or blanket to sleep on. You have no idea how many beautifil moments I've seen cats making biscuits, prrring, rolling around and loving the soft surfaces and being amazed by it. Other animals I've seen scared, unsure but thankful. So many different responses and emotions seen from the strays - they are sentient beings.

And I am sorry we can't bring all of you home. I am sorry we don't have enough home, funds capacity, energy to handle you all. I am sorry. And it hurts every time we say no or look away. I know it hurts you too, we can see it in your eyes šŸ’”.

I love that Spain has such a beautiful sculpture with this message to bring awareness.
It's inspiring.

This is again, another reason why we don't need breeders (specifically ignorant ones) adding to the population, using animals, messing with genetics, making animals have babies so they can also profit from them.

Spayed, vaccinated,Ā  FIV/ FeLV negative, dewormed, defleadĀ

Very affectionate, gentle, sweet,Ā  joyful, extremely friendly, easygoing, smart, open to others, trusting, obedient, clingy as she loves to be by her humans, her meows sound like a little bird chirp, talkative.Ā

Loves attention and will ask for her breakfast in the morning.Ā

She loves humans, does a lot of bellyflops, and is friendly to anyone. She is a no fuss, easygoing, adaptable cat.Ā  She loves attention but can be very productive on her own, one that can play with a piece of string for hours and live happily ever after. She is adaptable and can be integrated with other cats, though we feel she would be happier if she could be the only cat and have most of the attention.Ā

Skye was a dumped/abandoned cat in an area where we were doing TNVR, luckily we got her when she was in the very early stage of pregnancy.Ā

TIGGA | 10-months | FemaleĀ

Spayed, vaccinated, deflead, dewormed, vaccinated, FIV/FeLV negativeĀ

Affectionate, calm, talkative, sweet,Ā  friendly, playful, loves to be by and sit by her human, but can also be independent. She can be a bit dramatic at times but overall, super loving. She makes the perfect companion kitten.Ā

Tigga can be adopted alone if the home/familyĀ  already has anĀ  existingĀ  kitten of similar age or another cat in the home (please do reach out to discuss and allow us to help assess and provide options or solutions).Ā

Tigga came with no siblings. Her personality will also benefit to continue having more socialization and exposure at her age now, as she was very frightened of humans in the beginning as she was also rescued alone as a single kitten. She's integratable with other cats.Ā

Tigga was rescued , thank for the continued support to TiggaĀ

DARLA | 5-Months | FemaleĀ

Vaccinated, spayed, deflead, dewormed, FeLV Negative

Very affectionate, well-behaved, clingy to her human, silly, loving, gentle, talkative, adorableĀ

Can be adopted as a solo kitten to a home with another kitten or young cat, or also paired with any of ours or solo kittens.Ā

Darla was part of a three kitten litter that was dumped in a plastic bag at an intersection. Yes, a busy intersection. The kittens were only around 4-weeks old that time.Ā

Sadly, Darlaā€™s two siblings just got adopted to a home leaving her the only kitten.Ā

We would be looking for her to be going to a home that has another or young cat.Ā

We want to thank Darlaā€™s rescuer whoā€™s been so kind to supporting the kittens all this way through, as at the time we were called to rescue, we had no resources, capacity or fundsĀ  to take in extra animals. Also big thanks to foster mums who helped raise these cuties.Ā

Please help us share.

Or DM us should you want to enquire Darla.Ā

Happy adoption kids šŸ„²ā¤ The Bandit Baby Club were very close to heart for me, playing a major part of my healing in 2021, after losing Bandit and "the death year" for me in rescuing.

Every adoption matters, and a part of our hearts. We take every life and adoption seriously, we hope you do too.

We sell a part of soul volunteering to do this rescue work in our own communities.

I am so grateful for great families whom are open, learning, committed, loving and responsible adopters whom we can trust, support and have great relationships with ā¤. Thank you for being a great example.

Happy adoption day to Belle and Dusty!Ā

Recall the crazy story we had before with the twist? When our teammate was called on to help a litter of neonatal babies less than a week old, but noticed it was taken care of by a calico cat, which we all assumed was the mom, only to find out the next day IT WAS NOT mom but a friendly neighborhood cat looking out for the babies! Meaning, the babies had not had any milk or eaten for over a day! A risky situation for neonatal babies as their blood sugar can drop so rapidly, they easily go into fading kitten syndrome and pass in a blink of an eye. So without a doubt, our teammate immediately got the kittens checked at the vet, and sent over so she can immediately bottle feed them.Ā

Happy to say, the litter of four babies were happily bottle raised and thriving kittens!Ā

They wanted a kitten who doesnā€™t bully their big bunny rabbit they had, which the old kitten did. This is why itā€™s important for kittens to grow-up with a littermate, as it helps with their behavioral development and a channel to expend their hunter energy as well, not to mention their peak kitten energy. Having a pair really is less work for the family as the kitten has a companion of similar size and energy to expend their energy to and get feedback (vs look for the bunny rabbit!)Ā

We are so happy May Lingā€™s family was so open to learning and this knowledge. Knowing and learning what they did, they welcomed a pair of kittens with open arms.

This adoption couldnā€™t have a more happier and cuter ending!Ā

Leon FIP + FIV Warrior. He's the ultimate life warrior as this boy has been through a heck of a journey! He's the calmest, chilled, easygoing, friendliest cat. And did I say, he LOVES taking care of kittens ā¤ā¤šŸ‘‡ More of his journey below

šŸ±šŸ±šŸ±šŸ±

Reposted from Today's highlight is our miracle cat - Leon! Leon had suffered a horrific accident that degloved his entire chin and jaw, with his lower mouth, teeth, and even bone exposed and infected when we found him. Despite the excruciating pain, he never displayed distrust or fear - all he wanted was to be loved. Our vet did an amazing job reconstructing his jaw and chin, which allowed him to eat, drink, and groom again. His smile will always be a little lopsided, but it only adds to his personality.

Leon also fought off severe pneumonia and a terrible ear infection and was then diagnosed with the wet form of FIP. Under the love and care of our teammate, Alda he was injected with an experimental drug for 99 days followed by 147 days of observation. Today, we can proudly say LEON DID IT, he's officially an FIP survivor! We're extremely grateful to all our supporters for the love shown to him!

Leon is the happiest and most friendly boy despite all the pain and trauma he's been through. He's also a loving 'Uncle' to foster kittens in Alda's home. This happy-go-lucky boy is now officially up for adoption. Though he has chronic kidney disease, he's better than he's ever been and deserves to be spoiled. If youā€™ve been looking for a cuddly, patient, loyal companion, Leon is it! Do reach out to adopt if you are in Klang Valley, Malaysia.

FOR ADOPTIONĀ

SADIEā”‚5 Years ā”‚ Female
Deflead, dewormed, vaccinated, spayed, FIV/FeLV negative

Graceful, calm, elegant, soft-natured, mature, affectionate, loving, friendy, polite.Ā

One word to describe Sadie: ELEGANT.

She's a very well-behaved and polite cat.Ā To the point that if she wants to ask you for food, she will gently tap you.Ā

Sheā€™s very suited for someone mature, grounded and who wants a calm cat or companion.Ā
She would be happier as a solo cat as she loves her humans a lot.Ā

Sadie has been through a long journey. She came into our hands a little over a year ago, almost got adopted on a few occasions but destiny had better plans.

She was a previously owned cat dumped in a neighborhood full of dogs that could have mauled her to pieces like they with Manis and snapped her spine.

Most likely dumped due to her medical needs that time with irresponsible and heartless owners.

She was rescued with really bad gingivitis, causing her to drool often and discomfort with eating.

Since rescued, she's had many vet visits and had dental work earlier this year, which has helped start the process of healing her condition.

Today Sadie is doing fabulous and just the most elegant and sweetest girl! ā¤

FOR ADOPTION

NEVE | 1 Year | FemaleĀ
Deflead, Dewormed, Vaccinated, Spayed, FIV/FeLV NegativeĀ

Not your average cat - this is your ultimate, friendliest neighborhood cat.Ā

Trusting, quiet, clingy, affectionate, open, independent, easygoing, well behaved, peaceful, outgoing and open to all strangers and adapts well to new places.Ā

Sheā€™s a lapcat, even to strangers. In new environments and people, sheā€™s another trusting belly flopper who loves to hang out with her humans. Sheā€™s the greatest companion and great for anyone who is new to cats. Currently she enjoys spending time with them watching TV, snuggling between them on the sofa, or having some form of physical touch with them.Ā

The moment she arrived at her second foster home a few days ago, she already snuggled up between them and showed her belly. No adaptation needed, she made herself at home. Her fosters prepared a nice catified space with plenty of cozy boxes, she sniffed and never looked backā€¦ lol. Instead, she wanted to cuddle and hang with her new humans within the first hour of her new home! (For those that know cats, they are environment sensitive creatures, change of environment normally takes on average 3-4 days for them to adjust/adapt, but Neve is not your average cat).

Her new fosters described her as the sweetest, quiet, most affectionate, super friendly, sheā€™s amazing, prrs more than anything, very well behaved, lady like vibe to her.Ā

MISTY |4-Months | Female (Black)
Deflead, dewormed, vaccinated

Extremely friendly, affectionate, gentle, cuddly, outgoing, not shy, very trusting, calm, adaptable, easygoing.

ROGUE | 4-Months | Female (Grey tabby)
Deflead, dewormed, vaccinated
** Will be spayed next month

Affectionate, cuddly, friendly, trusting, a bit more shy than sister, calm, adaptable, easygoing.

*********

These two are a bonded pair and need to stay together.

They are the friendliest, most well-behaved, most affectionate and calmest pair of kittens we have. Super sweet and loving ā¤

Specifically Misty (black cat) would be one to greet anyone with head bumps and bellyflops, where Rogue the other sister likewise, but is a tad more shy and reserved yet still comes with the head bumping, affectionate loving package.

These two walks and greets complete strangers and cats with full love and trust.

They both happily walked into their crates themselves when we went to rescue them.

They also stayed completely calm and quiet for over 4-hours in the crate when we removed then from the area and had logistic issues. They are such a pair of easygoing and well-behaved kittens.

Not just that, they gave us headbumps and prrrr's as we gave them their dewormer pills and deflea treatment the first time. They are extremely sweet and easy going.

If you remember Haqi was rescued back in June with his 3 siblings that had the flu and severe eye infection. One of his sisters Kira became a blind kitten, Haqi lost one eye.Ā

Unfortunately, Haqiā€™s journey is not overā€¦Ā

Six days ago at 2:30am in the morning, his fosters heard Haqi growling and crying in the hallway and quickly attended to him. They stayed up all night with Haqi, seeing him in discomfort. We still do not know what happened, whether his injury was from playing, landing the wrong way or what other reason could be.Ā

Haqi was brought to the vet shortly after to get examined, sadly he suffered a bad spiral fracture which requires orthopedic surgery with plate and screws to patch his bones back for healing.Ā

As surgery should be done within 7-days of injury, we went ahead yesterday with the surgery.

Currently Haqi is well and recovering at the vet, but we need help to settle his upcoming bill that us due...

Meet the Do Re Mi babies! (Previous names)

LUKAS | 9-Weeks | MaleĀ
Playful, naughty but warm. A deep sleeper (hold him up when heā€™s sleepy, heā€™ll fall asleep right away!), human lover, not shy.

DARLA | 9-Weeks | FemaleĀ
Clingy to their human, affectionate, will go to you for attention, playful and silly.

OLIVE | 9-Weeks | FemaleĀ
Playful, independent, will allow snuggles but generally will be happy by herself, very calm, playful and gentle.

Our dream adoption would be for these three to stay together, if not, pair adoption for Lukas and Darla will be prioritized. If they need to be adopted single, we would require your home to have another cat/kitten since these kittens are under 6-months of age, it's important they grow up with a litter mate for the peak behavioral development period. Please enquire if you have questions on this.Ā

Thanks to who spotted them, passed the kittens to , an active supporter in our rescue community, who, as a dog person, took tried to take the matter into her own hands, brought the kittens to the vet immediately to get fully checked and even attempted bottle feeding at home herself despite having dogs, no experience and a partner who is allergic to cats!Ā

Thanks to , who stepped up from the community and was able to help foster these three abandoned babies. also continued donations, supporting food for the babies alongside , making it easy for us to also chip in to help despite us not being able to take in any more rescue cases at that time. Reposted from Oh boy, do we have a crazy story for you today! Belle (girl on the left) and Dusty (boy on the right) were part of a litter rescued by .nadia.esa when she heard them crying desperately loud for their mama in her condo hallway. Their eyes werenā€™t even open. But she noticed a calico cat caring for them, so she assumed the babies were at least getting fed and got in touch with our teammate for guidance in getting them all to safety. Then the next day - TWIST! Hani realized the calico cat wasnā€™t even lactating; she was just a loving community cat who was providing them with love and warmth. As Hani found out from the cleaners, this calico cat had much more kindness and compassion than the person who threw the kittens out. Turns out, one of her neighbors has an in tact female cat that she allows to roam, and the cat has given birth to many litters already. The neighbor didnā€™t want to bother with kittens, so even knowing that her cat had given birth, decided to confine the mama cat indoors so that she doesnā€™t have to take responsibility for them. šŸ¤Æ I meanā€¦ what?! Once Hani and Alda realized the kittens had been starving, Alda immediately took them in to bottle feed. Thankfully, the kittens were fine, if not a bit shocked and hungry, but managed to not drop in temperature or anything thanks to the intervention of the calico cat. Two months later, the babies are now perfect and ready for adoption. Having been hand-reared as neonatals, both Belle & Dusty are incredibly outgoing and trusting of humans. Their loving personality and playful antics are perfect for any first time cat parents or families with kiddos too. Theyā€™re good with other cats too! These two are bonded and we will be adopting them out in a pair. Thank you to Hani and Alda who both acted quickly in a life or death situation, and thank you to .nu for fostering these guys! Please reach out to us to learn more about them and inquire about adoption!

SHEETA | 5-Months | FemaleĀ

Today weā€™d like to introduce you to Sheeta. In her short life of just five months, this girl has been through a lot. She was rescued by our newest teammate , along with her three siblings. They all has flu and horrific eye infections, so bad that two of her siblings actually lost their vision entirely. Sheeta was lucky to emerge unscathed, but you can scroll to the very last picture to see what bad shape she was in too. When small kittens who donā€™t have such a strong immune system yet get eye infections, things go south FAST. But the good news is, eye drops are actually really affordable. There are many different kinds so youā€™ll have to see a vet to determine which type they need, but the eye drops themselves are usually only RM 5-10. And you can see from the first intake photo of the amazing progress Sheeta made in just 10 days of eye drops and TLC indoors. So if you see a kitten in need of help, donā€™t delay, and act. Do the right thing because chances are, what they need is actually not as daunting as you might have thought, but it could be the difference between life and death. Sheeta is now a gorgeous, extroverted 5 month old kitty, already fully vaccinated, spayed and FIV/FeLV negative. Sheā€™s an easy going girl with lots of love to give! Because sheā€™s still in the critical stage of socialization, sheā€™s only available to a home with an existing cat. Thank you so much to Alda for taking a chance on the family and rescuing them, and seeing Sheeta through to now, practically unrecognizable! Please DM us if youā€™re interested in finding a companion for your cat at home. Sheeta could be the one!!
