Join us with your four legged best friend for a fun walk/run on the 15th of February! No need to register or pay an entry fee! All we ask if for a small donation of dog or cat food. Please share this event far and wide so large numbers attend - lots of people = lots of food for the dozens of animals currently housed with us 🙏🙏
We will have a donation box available should anyone like to add an additional coin or two 😅
And a big thank you to the Walvis Bay Road Runners for helping us arrange this event, you guys are just pawsome 🙌

Ace has assumed the role of the shelter manager. Laying at the reception desk, patiently waiting for potential adopters and volunteers to give him a cuddle while he waits to find his furever home.

Meet Rommel, it's easy to overlook her when walking through the shelter. She takes a while to warm up and trust humans, and unfortunately this is due to humans doing.
However once you've earned her trust, she is the most sweet nurtured dog. Enjoys walks and likes spending time with her chosen humans.
Rommel has been with us for 806 days and she feels ready to join a family to call her own.

This is Suki. Today she found her forever home and got three new siblings in the deal too! They spent the afternoon getting to know each other, and within hours she’s been accepted and welcomed into the family.
Sometimes adoption requires a little bit of patience while the new pup gets to know their new surroundings. Give them some space and let them explore. They’ll soon trust you and you’ll have a friend for life ❤️
