Today is Mark Hughes’ 69th birthday in heaven.

Each year his senior & trusted company lawyer Judy Hammerschmidt posts a message on FB to celebrate his birthday (she left HBL after he passed) ❤️👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽

Mark always had a fabulous celebration - usually in Las Vegas — and I like to think of him doing the same in heaven.
So many of our friends have joined him in the last few years, and knowing Mark, he was there to greet them.
He left us almost 25 years ago (this May) which is hard to fathom.
Mark lived large — he did so much for so many. I think every day of the opportunities he created and how intensely he believed in people.
I know he saw things in me I didn’t think were there — but came to embrace. He never believed how much he was loved. But he was. I will be forever grateful to and for him, and hope that Jacque Lueth (hbl corporate who passed) organized his party, and Michael Rosen and Doug Braun (ex Snr corporate execs) were there to celebrate.
This photo is so Mark — always looking to the person in the last row in some giant venue, saying, “I SEE YOU.” And he did.
For every one of us. ❤️
