Gut-brain axis evidence of Heat stress-induced Necrotic enteritis in broilers.🐔

Last 10 years, we are more of an understanding of the relationships between gut-microbial can affect growth performances and chicken well-being.
A study confirmed that Heat stress enhanced some of the intestinal lesions and the neuroendocrine changes induced by C. perfringens in the birds with more clear relationships between the degree of intestinal lesions, the chickens’ behaviors, brain activity, and blood corticosterone level. That is encourage the importance of neuroimmunomodulation and especially of brain-gut axis interactions.
