Hi my name is Ozzy Pawsborne, but you can just call me Ozzy! I am 7 yrs old and just like my namesake I like to live a rock and roll lifestyle! Do want me to come when you call? LOL! ya right! Do you want me to stop barking and demanding food...dream on! Oh you didn't want me to lift my leg on your furniture...oopsy! I have heard foster mom say things like "were you raised in a barn?" I am not sure what that means but it sure sounds fun!
Foster mom says my partying days are probably going to come to an end since I got "deez nuts" cut off...we will just have to see about that!

I am really good looking, at least that is what I am told. I am full of vim and vigor and like to play toys and hang out with my person. I like other dogs fine, but don't really play with them.
I am told I need to learn lots of manners, so my new home will need to put the effort in to train me so I can be the best boy there is. I have some bad habits I am told, but what do you expect when no one has taught me different!

6 year old Harry (right) came to us from the Bend area. He had been attacked by a large dog and the family could not afford to get him taken care of, so a caring vet took him in and removed his eye, neutered him and did a dental! She then called us to ask us to find the perfect home for him. We immediately thought of Holly and Steven and their pug Winston, they just seemed like they would be the perfect match for the sweet Harry and they had been patiently waiting for the right pug to come along. Happy tails to everyone!

It has been a busy Memorial Day Weekend with 4 new intakes in one day! All of these kids will need some medical care before they are ready for adoption, but they are all safe and sound in their foster homes. Lately we seem to always have one honorary pug in the rescue and now it is the sweetest girl ever Libby Lu! Libby found herself in need of a new home at the age of 14 and we cannot resist a beautiful frosted face! We are not sure what Libby is mixed with..she may be a Chug but we sent her DNA in to see! All that matters is she is the bestest dog..we literally can't say one negative thing about her! LIbby is getting some needed skin care and she needs a dental then will be available for adoption.

Meet the darling 10 year old Butters! Butters is a small gentle boy looking for a special home. He went blind suddenly from SARDS and he also cannot hear well. His family moved around the same time and he did not adjust well. You can tell Butters has been shut down for awhile, but he has done very well with us in rescue. He will need someone very patient, who has the time to spend with him to help him adjust. He is very food motivated and has really enjoyed having a lick mat and a Kong. He would do really well with any sort of food enrichment games.
While we have not seen a lot of Butters true personality come out yet, we know it is in there, as we have seen little glimmers! We know in the right home he would thrive!
Butters is completely potty trained, if you leave a crate open he will let himself in to nap, and he does best in a crate when left alone.
He had infected ears and skin and some really horrible teeth but those have all been fixed and he is on the mend!
We are looking for a home that has experience with blind and deaf dogs. Butters will need someone who is home the majority of the time. A one level small home that he can learn to navigate would be best, as he becomes very overwhelmed if left to move around in a large space. He does not have any mobility issues, but he is very hesitant when moving in unfamiliar places, so a stroller to take him out for walks would be wonderful. Butters would do best in a home without small children as he does startle easily.
