Perhaps it is because you put on your shoes, pick up your purse,wallet or car keys or put on your clothes. If you can determine what the clues are that you give your dog, you can try to desensitize him to these clues by repeating them frequently but not leaving and by giving him a treat and praise when he behaves well.
