Educative Agriculture Video
Over 800 million people around the world go to bed hungry and according to the World Economic Forum, the numbers are set to hit 10 billion by 2050.
The video above shows a community of refugees who have come together to grow food using mattresses. This method of farming acts as a substitute for soil and makes it possible for the plant to grow even in harsh weather conditions I.e desert heat.
This method of farming is also a great way to curb food insecurity, reduce hunger and provide food for the less privileged.
Do you think this is a great idea? Can this be adapted here in Nigeria? Tell us what you think in the comment section.
