At PDS, we take radiographs of all species of animals big or small.
This reptile was presented by our animal conservationist- Dr Mark Ofua for radio- diagnosis.

Radiographic impression of a foreign body ( fishing hook) lodgment in the oro-pharynx was made.
The hook was subsequently removed.

Sarcoptic mites are the culprits for the Sarcoptic mange, popularly known as Scabies in dogs.
It is highly contagious and can be transmitted from dog-to-dog and dog-human.
It can be prevented by keeping your dog away from infected dogs.
Common signs include scratching, biting, inflamed-red skin, open skin sores, and hair loss.

Is you dog having skin any of the above signs?
Visit Petcare Diagnostic Services, where skin scrapping test will be done to identify the mite under the microscope.
