One night, Daniel dey sleep, Rex no dey sleep. E dey watch d window. Suddenly, Rex jump up, bark loud. Daniel wake up, shocked. Rex bark dey grow louder.

Daniel open d door, Rex rush out, e see one man try enter through d back gate. D man look shock as Rex rush come out, and Daniel shout, “Who you be?”

D man turn, wan run, but Rex block am. "Drop d bag," Daniel talk, holding d flashlight.

D man drop d bag. Daniel pick am up, na small tools wey d man steal from d shed. "Go!" Daniel shout.

The man run fast. Daniel close d door, Rex no move until d man run far. Daniel kneel down, stroke Rex, "You save me again. Thanks." Rex lick im hand, and Daniel realize sey Rex na im protector.

Episode 3

Di next few days, Daniel and Rex begin dey get used to each other. One day, Daniel find one old box wey hin papa use pack military stuff. E open di box, na old pictures, medals, and one dog tag dey inside.

Daniel hold di picture wey him and his unit plus one dog dey for di picture. E remember Duke, di German Shepherd wey e work with during di war.

Duke save their team that day, sniff out bombs wey for ambush them. E remember wetin Duke do for am during one mission—how Duke shield am from sniper bullet. Daniel feel one pain deep inside as e look Rex.

"You remind me of Duke," Daniel talk to Rex.

Rex just look am and lick im hand, like e understand.

D first time Wey Daniel and Rex go park together, Daniel no understand wetin Rex dey do, but d dog dey show im loyalty, e go dey beside Daniel no matter wetin. D park be quiet place, people go waka, but Rex go dey watch everyone carefully, no one fit come near Daniel without Rex noticing.

One day, Daniel sit down for d park, Rex go dey near am, but e go dey watch people. One old man come pass, im eyes meet Rex, and Rex show respect for d old man. D man go stop, smile, and talk say, *“This dog get serious spirit of loyalty."* Daniel shock.

"How you take know?" Daniel ask.

D old man laugh. "I sabi d way dog dey show loyalty, d way e go watch im master like e no wan make anything happen to am. Dis dog dey protect you."

Daniel go home dat night, still dey think about wetin d old man talk. Rex no just be dog; e be protector.

Episode1

Daniel bin dey for house wen hin hear sound for outside. Him look out, na Rex, one big German Shepherd, wey don dey roam for d area for some days now,some people dey call am stray dog. Rex bin dey wag him tail, like sey e wan follow Daniel😳.

Daniel no know if he go take d dog, but d dog look calm, e no look like sey e go harm him. E look sey d dog dey ask for help, so Daniel talk sey, "Oya, come make I help you."

E no take long, Rex follow Daniel back inside house, and for d next few days, Rex show Daniel sey e be loyal dog, e no wan leave am again😳. Every morning, Rex go dey follow Daniel go park. Daniel bin begin wonder🤷‍♂️, if Rex get reason why e come.

In 2022, we launched the inaugural edition of our Strictly Dog Affairs DogWalk, with an impressive turnout of 62 dogs. We created strong bonds and built a trusted network as we walked together in Lagos, Ondo, Abuja, Osun, Oyo, and Abeokuta.

In 2023, the second edition saw even greater success with 84 dogs participating, 63 of which received free anti-rabies vaccinations. It was a remarkable event that further solidified our community and strengthened our connections.

Now, in 2024, I am thrilled to announce the third edition of the Strictly Dog Affairs DogWalk. This year promises to be our most explosive event yet! It’s an opportunity you cannot afford to miss. Biography:

I'm *Dr Olaolu ADEBAYO*, a Medical Doctor by profession but passionate about dogs, especially the Rottweiler breed.

I had always kept dogs as a child but went into Real time breeding in 2014. I initially bred Non-Pedigree Rottweilers, but later upped the game into Pedigree Rottweilers.

Our kennel name is *ONYX & JEWEL KENNELS*, a kennel I partnered with my wife.

I had my first dog show experience in Ghana, with the Rottweiler Club of Ghana in 2022; and was moved to show some of my Rottweilers at the *Rottweiler Sieger show* under the President German Kennel Club, VDH ADRK Judge *(Prof Peter Friedrich)*. We had a *VP-2 and V-4 RATED Rottweiler* at that Sieger show.

We currently own *10 Pedigree Rottweilers and nursing 5 puppies* at our kennels.

Our kennels are located in *Owo, Ondo State*
