Every last Wednesday and every first Sunday of the month, we organize a Walk & Train group walk. At 10.30 am. Max 5 dogs per group. In this walks we built on what your dog has learned in dog school. Not necessarily ours. Recall, leash walking skills, pay attention, a sniffing game. 75 minutes of fun, games and a learning opportunity! Come walk with us!

Lizzie (on the left) came with her crowd! Look at these beautiful creatures! Akita’s are identified as one of the 14 dog breeds with the most ancient origins. It’s a strong and independent dog breed, you need to be creative in finding ways to motivate them in training. Or else they will just look at you as if you ask them to climb a tree! 😂

Workshop scent detection at . First some background about the olfactory senses of dogs. Second part the actual scent detection with shelter dogs on the forecourt. Scent detection can help dogs gain more focus and self confidence. It’s both a physical and a mental activity which makes them tired and happy! Scent detection course at .nl starts September 7th.

Imagine visiting an Art gallery and every time you try to look at a painting, someone pulls you away with force! That’s how dogs must feel when we impatiently pull them away if they stop to sniff something interesting.
Just as you are now scrolling through Instagram a gladly landed on this post, your dog is scrolling through the area for social investigation . They only have a few opportunities a day. Sensory enrichment should be part of his daily routine. It will keep them happy, content and relaxed.

Lazy bones 🤣 Puppy training is not only about being active all the time. Teaching your puppy to relax outside could be very useful. Faraday, Lizzy and Olivia were performing the ‘relax’ with ease 😅

And again the pleasure of working with a former puppy student .beagle in 2023 and now! Iggy is one of my all time favorites 💛 Iggy is very consistent in his behavior. He always does what he wants 😂 I think he reminds me of myself. And don’t tell us we’re stubborn! We’re not! We’re just differently motivated.
