Ik ben een hele tijd terug begonnen met het houden van Vogelspinnen. Leek me een goed idee om ze hier allemaal te kunnen showcasen.

This is the page about my Tarantula's. I started in 2012 with a B.auratum. It was a juvenile but turned into a male. Males don't live as long as females ..... they become adult and have only one thing on their mind. Find a female .......

Second species I got was a A.geniculata and till this day it's one off my favorite species. Always on display, great eaters and hunters. It's amazing to see the

m grow from sling to adult. After that it went to many :) .... I have a bedroom dedicated for the spiders.

After dinner slowly open the door to take a picture. I got a scare because I thought she missed a backleg ... so I checked but it's still there :).

For now I have updated all the pictures I have. I saw that from a few species I don't have an updated foto. I will create those in the future. I also saw that I don't have a picture from a few species as well :). Also a few missing between sling and juvi.
But it is what it is. I'll upload any foto's here for me as archive, and for others to see.

Some species are very skittish. So they might be outside but when I open the door to create a foto they hide. Special the arboreal that have the stupid dropdoors .... There is also a species that I saw when I bought it, and only see when it needs to be rehoused. When feeding I only see som legs while it grabs it's pray.
