Our dear gentle giant Sargo crossed the rainbow bridge today 😢😢 he died peacefully in his sleep due to an old age. We are all devastated and he will be greatly missed 😢😢

It was a huge question how Sapko even survived at all on the streets. This is a cruel example of what ordeals stray animals face here 🥺😢 please read 🙏 My friend and I took Sapko to another clinic for specialist examinations and xrays today. Xrays showed terrible fractures of a front and a hind leg. As you can see from xrays his bones are so badly fractured that they are full separated 😢 according to vets, fractures are more than 2 weeks old. Results of blood tests were satisfactory. Unfortunately, Sapko must be operated and he needs pins and fixators in both legs. Due to complicated nature of his injuries, his operations will have to be done in Belgrade. I will talk with vets in Belgrade during the weekend and I will know all details including a date and costs of operation. In the meantime we must keep him healthy. He needs immunity supplements, vitamins, special high protein food, and he is staying at the vet clinic where I must pay costs of his place there. Also, he is getting medications and painkillers. Today’s costs were almost 300e including food, new blankets, beds, examinations, medications, supplements, registration to my name, etc. please continue helping Sapko because he needs all possible help 🙏

We are planning on taking Sapko to the vet clinic this afternoon, and we are still missing 100e for his initial costs. Also, since it is the black Friday there are huge discounts at the pet shop where we buy many things and medications so if you want, you can contribute to that purpose as well. Dear friends, it is time for a new FOOD fundraiser. New food order must be made in order to get food in time. We already have funds for one week therefore we must raise funds for food for 3 weeks (3x900e). The whole order must be completed in order to get food and the deadline is on the 25th of November. Prices of food were increased last month, and consumption has been increased due to cold weather.

All of them have been saved from horrific ordeals and all of them have experienced how it is to be starved

🐶Also, there are many oldies that can't eat dry food at all due to problems with teeth.

🐶There are also many animals with chronic conditions such as demodex, lungs or gastrointestinal problems and they eat special vet food which is awfully expensive.

Days are always busy at the shelter but they aren’t always the same especially because different weather conditions require adjusting and different activities
There are always two main types of activities
🐶 feeding animals and maintaining all conditions as well as doing all activities to keep them healthy and clean; and
