JOKER the horse simulator werd ontwikkeld om balans, timing, coördinatie en zelfbewustzijn van de ruiter -en hierbij ook het algehele welzijn van het paard- te verbeteren. Joker’s grote waarde is dat hij teruggaat naar de basis van bewustzijn en gevoel.

❗️Er is 1 plaats vrij gekomen tijdens een workshop Houding en Zit met .thehorsesimulator in Bakel aanstaande zondagmiddag 2 juni.

🧐Dit is een unieke kans om te werken aan je houding, zit en beweging op onze simulator JOKER. We starten de middag met een stukje interactieve theorie over houding en zit met behulp van de voor ruiters, daarna krijg je in een kleine groep 30 minuten individuele zitles op JOKER.
Je gaat naar huis met een persoonlijke houdingsanalyse, aanvullende informatie en een heleboel handvaten om zelf verder progressie te boeken met je houding en zit te paard.

📅Het programma loopt van 13.15-16.00u en de workshop is in Bakel. De kosten zijn 67 Euro.

📞Omdat het allemaal nogal last-minute is, kun je me het beste even appen op 06-41421154 om je op te geven. Wie het eerst komt, wie het eerst maalt. Wacht dus niet te lang!

🟠🟢🔵🟡🔴People ask me all the time why I pick a certain ball, why not use a sponge or a band?

🧽〰️I've been using tools in my teaching for over a decade. In that time I found a structure to the different kind of tools, and why they work better in some situations than others. Depending on what you want to achieve you might be better off with a certian type of ball, or a band.

🤯Not to meantion all the different ways you can apply those tools. The possibilities are endless.

🔝The application of a tool is never the goal, but it can help riders to become more aware of their movement patterns. This awareness is essential to make a lasting change in your riding.

Off horse work is invaluable.

When we're riding we focus on what the horse is doing, the movements we're performing, whether he's going how we want or expect him to. That's doesn't leave much opportunity to work on ourselves.

But we should work on ourselves, as much if not more, than we work on our horse. That way we know we aren't the weak link, actually preventing our horse doing what we're asking.

The simulator is ideal for off horse practice. Improve your awareness, check your symmetry, practice the mechanics of your body's movement, get used to how things should feel so when you get back on your horse you can work on replicating it.

🤩Tonight we had our final theory session on the JOKER Trainer course. Now we just wait for the final JOKERs to arrive and we'll host one last practical session for the participants.

Ace is a busy boy this month!

If you missed out on getting a space on our next clinic at Newhall Farm Equestrian on the 20th, you can find us at Hyperion Equestrian Centre on Tuesday 23rd and Rollestone Farm on the 28th.

I'm now booking dates for May so get in touch if you'd like me to come to your yard, riding club or camp. Ace and I are based at Hyperion so aside from our clinics out and about, there are always appointments available to book to come and see us there, just get in touch to arrange.

A oprócz teorii są również treningi dosiadowe na sztucznym koniu - Jokerze. Na treningach pracujemy nad wzorcem ruchu jeźdźca przy użyciu pomocy zewnętrznych m. inn piłek i taśm. Joker nie jest mechanicznym symulatorem, nie ma czujników. To jeździec wprawia go w ruch i musi go utrzymać. Jeździec musi cały czas świadomie działać swoim ciałem co zwiększa efektywność treningu.

In this online course we'll cover theory and practice of:

✅ Safety

✅ Be succesfull; importance of a balanced posture
✅ Basic Gaits; how to get a rider started in walk, trot and canter

✅ Flying changes
✅ Lesson plans

During this course you'll learn how to help riders improve on their posture and movement on JOKER. Trainers of all disciplines and levels are welcome to join.
This course is taught by Janneke Jansen, occupational therapist, 4* Trainer, Educator level 3 and experienced senior JOKER trainer. She's been working with JOKER for many years and has educated over 20 JOKER trainers on the use of JOKER the Horse Simulator.
