Yesterday just after midday, the worldwide Rallying community suffered yet another cruel blow. As the news filtered in of Craig's passing the world of motorsports fell to it's knees because we knew we lost one of it's most genuine enthusiastic characters.
We could go on and on about what this man achieved in Rallying, the struggles, the heartbreak, the dark places but not once did Craig give up! He was not only back where he belonged this year but we honestly think his head was in the right place and that outright win was coming very soon. Unfortunately, now we will never know
Craigs love for Rallying was infectious, just look at how many Rallies he entered at all levels and you will understand that but his love for competing at home in Ireland was where the heart really was. Even after very long weeks at a WRC event, he would come home to do a Rally and he would always put on a show and have the craic
We also all loved this mans stage end interviews in the WRC, who wouldn't! they really could not be matched, typical Irish humour and straight to the point but when the emotions came out, you just knew what this sport meant to him. Craig shed many tears in those interviews, now it's our turn to shed a tear for Craig 💔🇮🇪💔
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Craig's family, worldwide circle of friends and our thoughts are also with James ❤️
As a mark of respect, we will not be posting anything over the coming days while Craig sets out on his final stage 🏁
RIP Craig 🇮🇪
