New beginnings are new adventures 🔥
New beginnings are new adventures. Well, I guess I can say I’ve learned that one is true🥵🙋🏼♀️😄
It’s been a hectic year, a rollercoaster with everything that happened🎢 I’ve experienced every emotion which was sometimes quite scary. But I know that whatever comes our way, it’s up to ourselves to take what is given to us and make the very best of it and that’s what has been on my mind throughout it all ✨
I’ve taken you through my journey as much as possible, which sometimes meant I was totally quiet. But in the meantime I’ve grown, into a mother of the most beautiful little boy, and a stronger horse women, because the quiet moments taught me valuable things about my journey with them 🐎✨
I am happy to feel okay now in saying: I AM BACK! And I think better than ever 💪🏼 Because in times when there’s no room for distractions, you learn what you value most. It’s a given that events in life change us. But we either let it weaken us, or we grow. It’s the choice we have in difficult times and it’s the only thing we have to do: choose the direction of our change. And when we choose growth, new adventures have a chance to become beautiful new beginnings…💛🩵
To celebrate all the adventures life is giving us, I like to invite you to step into the adventure of a lifetime with your horse🔥 It’s up to us to make the best of our journey by learning and developing ourselves. We need to take that first step into the path we’d like to be on. There will be bumps, challenges and set backs, but if we stay resilient, open, and seek for the right guidance, we can overcome anything and beautiful things lie ahead 🐎❤️
To start now, I’m giving a big discount to take the first step into a new beginning!🤩👉🏼www.featherlightacademy.com/newbegin

How to help a horse overcome his fear for the rider? 🐎
How to help a horse overcome his fear for the rider? 🐎
In the NEW On Tour Problem Solving episode, I am showing a way to safely introduce myself from a riders position to the horse who developed serious anxiety from which he could not be ridden.
In the full video I show you what questions I need to ask to be able to help him, what is important to focus on and how to see and feel what the horse can and can’t handle and yet.

Why would exposing your horse to strange things attached to the saddle, like dummy riders, teddy-bears, balls etcetera, will only make the situation worse, if it’s to get the horse used to things?🧸
I know it’s been done a lot in starting young horses under the saddle or in trying to get a horse with fear for the rider more confident💥 But in the NEW episode of the On Tour Problem Solving Series I am showing you why just exposing your horse to strange things causes more distrust if you don’t help him when he asks you to...
I also show you how to read those signs, and how to help your horse so he can grow more confidence 💪🏼

It is time….😭🥹🙏🏼❤️
It is time…!! 😭🙏🏼🥹 James is finally coming home!! 😭🥹🫶🏽😍❤️🩵🧸🙏🏼
I cannot describe to you how over the moon I am to be able to tell you James is finally home! After 9 weeks of intensive hospital care, we are finally able to take our little boy home. He learned to breathe, to drink (partly, if he doesn’t have the energy I’ve been educated to feed him through a feeding tube), he tripled in size, he is absolutely amazing and I am so proud of him!
He got discharged early and he’s still fragile, but…. he is home and it feels so so good!
What a journey it has been. I can’t really explain how the past weeks have been, there is too much to say. But I am incredibly thankful to all the nurses and doctors involved and taking such good care of him when he was born with 28 weeks 🩵🙏🏼
It’s all going to be okay 🩵

In this episode I want to take the mental connection we established in the previous episodes, into more difficult circumstances. I want to help Don trust my feeling not to get him used to stuff, but because I need him to know he can still follow my feeling, also in a situation he is not completely sure of. In this video I show you what I focus on when I work under different circumstances, how and why I do this 💫
