When I was 16, my therapist gave me 5 clothespins to pick from. Each one has a word engraved on it: love❤️, vulnerability🌈, freedom🕊, courage💕, truth⭐️. I didn't know why at the time, but I chose the one with freedom.
As I got older, I was asked, "What is your dream?" I immediately thought of freedom, which made me realize that I was put on this earth to create an impact, not just an income. When I meet new people, I always like to ask them the same questions. What surprised me was that no one mentioned their job as their dream, but love, creation, happiness, time, equality, but never their job. 🍀
Society tells us that the traditional way to live is to go to college, get a degree, and then get a job, but what if that path isn't right for everyone? I do believe education is important, but knowledge is not power, it is the application of knowledge that yields results. 🏆
I got the job not because I had a degree from a top school or because I had connections, but through the power of connections🗣, persistence💪, and the best asset is will, not skill🧠. I always tell my employers during interviews that I may not have the skills, but I have the mindset. You can teach me how to do the job, but you can't teach me character. Character comes directly from the heart. We have all been nobody once, and someone took a chance on us. I want to be that person to someone out there. 👫
My motto is “If it’s not hell, it’s hell.” 💃 I don’t believe in doing anything that doesn’t align with my core values, which are passion, creativity, authenticity, vulnerability, integrity, and most importantly, freedom . I firmly believe that money 💸 does not determine how successful I am in life, but rather how passionate and fulfilled I am in my personal and professional life, doing what I love and surrounding myself with like-minded people. 🧘♀️✨
