Erichsen Racing Cathrine har virket som galopptrener siden 1995 og har
trenerstall på Øvrevoll. Hun har trent vinnere av en rekke
storløp inkludert tre derbyvinnere.

51 år gammel fra Oslo. Hun har lang erfaring innen galoppsporten. Hun begynte med fullblodshester som 12 åring. Hun har jobbet for flere suksessfulle trenere, blandt annet Arne O Karlsen, Ivi Jegsen og Knut Engan. Hun var en aktiv amatørrytter og ble amatørryterchampion i 1986. Hun representerte Norge i 1994 i Fegentriserien for amatørryttere og red løp over hele verden. Hun fikk profesjonell tre

nerlisens i 1995 og har siden etablert seg i toppen blant de norske trenerne. Hun begynte sin trenervirksomhet på Hosle Gård i Bærum, hvor hun trente et 20-talls hester i flere år. I 2001 flyttet hun alle hesten til en av stallene på Øvrevoll. Her har hun en flott stall med 20 bokser, samt tilgang til flere utebokser. Kapasiteten til å ta i mot hester er er stor. Den første kom i Danmark i
2002 med The Khamsin, deretter vant Mission Possible i 2005. Norsk Derby vant hun i 2003 med Lights Out. Hun har også
vunnet fem Gruppe 3-løp. Albaran vant Scandinavian Open to
ganger og Stockholm Cup International en gang. Sprinteren
Morten’s Prospect vant Täby Open Sprint Championship og her
på Øvrevoll vant Hovman Polar Cup. I tillegg har hun vunnet
Norsk 1000 Guineas og St Leger både her og i Danmark for å
nevne noen. Cathrine er en habil rytter. Hun rir jevnlig alle hestene i trening og kan på den måten vurdere hvert enkelt individ og legge opp treningsprogrammet etter hestens behov.

Busy weekend for Erichsen Racing in Scandinavia. Six runners with results of: 1.-2.-3.-4. place. Rosemary’s Baby wins the short Oaks in great style, Kill That Cat second in strong mile hac and Finn Kristiansen ( man of honour) finishes third in amateur race and Emma Emilleen did her strongest performance in her career so far. Congrats to everyone involved 🎉👒🏇🤠
