Aaaaaaaaaw our poor mother that was attacked by a wild boar just days ago has given birth to 6 babies ❤️
I will visit her today and see them. I cant go eveey day as I would normally do as I dont have a car 🤷
I bought her a bed without raised sides when she first came in due to her injuries, but I will need to buy another one with higher sides so the puppies dont roll off it 😍😍😍😍
We will need help with parazite treatment, chip and vaccines for mom and the puppies 💉

No updates yesterday as I was in the immigration office from 09.00 and was not at the rescue until 14.00.
With Mehmet having his day off you can maybe imagine how much I had to do and how late I was finished yesterday evening.

I just got this message.
3 donkeys are abandoned up in the mountains between Antalya and Alanya.
1 is already killed and eaten by wild animals, 2 are still alive. Public personell from Alanya spotted them and lit a fire for them and gave them bread.
We are struggeling big time to raise money for the hay and feed to the do keys and horses we already have, but maybe this post can reach someone who can help?

Terry gave me the second surprise experience this half year. China the cat had megacolon last month, and now Terry gave me the next experience.

The last 3 pictures are showing the operation, blood and intestons. I tried to find out how to cover them as sensitive, but I couldnt fix it. If you know how to do it feel free to teach me ✔️
Terry is the first rescuedog I have that had undescended testicles, also known as cryptorchidism. I , in my ignorance, thought he was castrated.
One of the testis developed a tumor, but due to Terry having a lot of hair and not letting me groom his legs and stomach I never saw the bulging paer. But Sunday a week go he did not want his breakfast and looked unwell so I decided to check him over. To my surprise I found a big lump on his belly. I thought it could be a hernia and him being so unwell I did not want to wait and took him to an emergency clinic. They took xrays and bloodwork and xray showed a mass but not a normal hernia. So he got a lot of different meds and we waited to Monday so they could do an ultrasound.
Sunday at the clinic, I felt a small lump on the other side, and we suspected a testicular issue. Monday confirmed our suspicions.
His left testicle had developed a tumor, and when it grew too large, it pressed against a hole and came out through it. And as if that weren't bad enough, it took a small part of the intestine with it through the small hole, cutting off the blood supply to the bowel. A small part of it was becoming necrotic, which is a major concern.
So far, all is well, and he is eating and has pooped. Cross your fingers for us that we found it in time. If not, that part of the intestine will die and must be removed.
