Our team provided the necessary treatment and care, and we’re grateful for the local community’s support and cooperation. Today, we helped a dog whose back legs aren’t working because it was badly hurt by some locals. A call from people near Shah Party Palace, across from the alley by Alpine Secondary School, helped us reach the dog in time.

It was a blessed day at Animal Care Birgunj! We held our first puja for the peace and well-being of our shelter, coming together to pray for blessings and strength in our mission to care for animals in need. May this sacred ceremony bring harmony, love, and happiness to all our furry friends as we strive to provide them with a safe and nurturing home. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us in this beautiful celebration!

Update : Today, we rescued an abandoned horse with severe leg wounds. It’s now safe in our shelter, receiving the care it needs. We’re hopeful it will recover and live a happy life soon. Every animal deserves a second chance!

Today was a significant day for our animal care team Birgunj as we rescued four dogs from different locations, each in need of urgent help.
1. Gahawa: Our first rescue had a serious skin problem that required immediate attention.
2. Gahawa (again): The second dog was suffering from wounds and a skin infection, and we couldn’t leave him behind.
3. Pragatinagar: The third rescue was a puppy battling a maggot infestation, and we swiftly took action to provide care.
4. Ongoing Care: Our dedicated mother dog received her second day of treatment and is already showing signs of improvement.

Every life matters, and with love and commitment, we strive to ensure these furry friends get the care they deserve. Let's keep advocating for our voiceless companions!

"We received a call from Pragati Nagar-3 (Adarshnagar field) about a female dog that was unable to move or stand. This mother dog had given birth to five puppies and has been unable to move since. The local community was very cooperative, allowing our team to treat her on-site. After the initial treatment, she was able to stand. We will continue her treatment for 2-3 more days at the same location, and she is expected to recover fully. 🐶🐶🐶 A big thanks to the local people for their support 🙏."
