HWS has kickstarted our first campaign and project of 2023! We are partnering up with located in Uganda to help his orphanage and the beautiful children. 😊

Everyone meet the beautiful children from Muvistar SaveLife Youth Foundation Orphanage in Uganda!

It’s a talk on how to tackle the hard parts of being a cat owner but also most importantly, being a responsible owner. There will be a lot of important information and tips given so dont miss out!

Compassion:

It literally means “to suffer together” and is defined as the feeling that arises when you are confronted with another’s suffering and feel motivated to relieve that suffering.

But not everyone is compassionate and that is okay. That is why there is people like me who closes the big gap between animals and people.

Research has shown that when we feel compassion, our heart rate slows due to actions of the vagus nerve, we secrete the “bonding hormone” oxytocin, and regions of the brain linked to empathy, caregiving and feelings of pleasure light up.

Being a compassionate human has more positive effects than being completely blinded by the fact that animals need help every.single.day.

⚠️ WARNING ITS GRAPHIC ⚠️

Thousands of dogs die every year due to hit and run cases all over Nepal. Worst part is that it is NOT an accident when it happens. 90% of drivers CHOOSES to run them over.

However, all of these souls that has crossed the rainbow bridge will never ever get justice for what was done to them. ever. That is the saddest thing.

I can probably accumulate thousands of pictures online and in person dogs that are killed due to cruel drivers/riders.

Maybe then you will realise how big the problem is. I can’t imagine someone I love in that poor dog’s position, can you?

Think. Drive responsibly.

Toast was Samoona’s first ever rescue kitten in 2018 and Toast now lives with his awesome family and has a doggo sibling! He has grown massive by now I hope 😆

✨ 🇳🇵 LONG AWAITED UPDATES 🇳🇵 ✨
HWS has been quiet for sometime as Samoona has been busy trying to be a veterinarian doctor in Australia. (It takes almost 6-7 years to be one!) She’s working extremely hard and doesn’t have the time to operate HWS at the moment but, we never refuse any people asking for help.

She will be back in late Jan - late Feb for a quick mission trip! 🇳🇵 We are looking to vaccinate more dogs, feeding, spaying, BUT WE ARE FOCUSING ON CATS! educating together with schools with books written by and sponsoring females in rural areas with reusable pads (away from those one time use pads)!

We have so much in store for HWS, even without being physically there for awhile. If anyone wants to chip in and help generate wonderful ideas, please let me know! I know a few who has been waiting to share their bright ideas with us but please be patient as it’s a two man NGO and we both are busy people with a mission to help more with knowledge and power.

‼️ FAKE VETS IN NEPAL doing painful and invasive surgery on a dog without any anaesthesia‼️I will not post the video as it is very distressing and horrible to hear and watch however, HWS strongly condones any malpractice on animals. So what they don’t have a voice or aren’t just humans? It doesn’t mean you can cut open and stitch the dog while he is aware of every single cut, stitch, injection and the horrible pain.

Shame on all of you FAKE VET DOCTORS! HWS will never support organisations and places running with fake qualifications and doing high risk surgeries on the roadside.

When will the veterinary industry change in Nepal??? Why does the government want to pass the bill??? It is a deep rooted problem in Nepal itself. I have met so many “vet doctors” and when asked for their official qualifications they can’t give me one or an answer. Is that okay? Is that right? Is it ethical as a supposedly “vet doctor”? Or even as an animal lover?

Doing more harm than good? When will we learn?

We managed to spay 38 dogs yesterday 21 females and 17 males! These dogs were in dire need to spaying and caretakers have been requesting for a very long time to get them spayed. So we couldn’t say no and quickly moved on to raising funds from Singapore to make it happen.

Om Adhyay Retreat - Resort has said they have stopped their horse riding UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. So let’s hope they have come to their senses about exploiting animals for their resort’s gain.

Here’s a quick advice and tips. Maybe rent out bicycles in your resort instead of horses. Take them on a trip using bicycle riding treks and trail for an activity.

The world has provided us with so much technology and inventions like car, bus, taxi, bicycles, skateboard and all that but you choose a horse. Come on. So this is just a friendly suggestion to boost your resort’s viability. But I will not support the business personally. Good luck in running your resort!

**UPDATE: THEY HAVE STOPPED THE HORSE RIDING UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!**

It has come to everyone’s attention that this resort Om Adhyay Retreat - Resort has been using a small baby pony/horse for their hotel’s entertainment for the guests.

First of all let me start off by drawing your attention to this pony’s face. LOOK. AT. IT. And THINK.

Secondly, what in the world were they thinking to use this as an attraction to their sh*tty resort? No one could ever ever be encouraging animal attractions and rides at all!! Do you know how much the animal providing the ride suffers? Do you have any idea what goes on behind the scene for this poor pony? Look at the weight of some of these people, they are much much heavier than they can handle on their backbone.

Thirdly, those who got on the pony. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU. That agreed to ride the pony. SHAME ON YOU. This is such a Low class behaviour for someone who can afford a resort lifestyle to ride some pony for attraction. What a cheap shot. I hope you are reflecting on your actions and doing some good deed to repent your shameful act.

SAY NO TO ANIMAL RIDES!! It’s 5 mins of fun for you but it’s 5 years of suffering for them every second.

Don’t be a dense human being and have some decency.

BYCOTT THIS HOTEL. DONT SUPPORT THEM. don’t book them, until they have apologised and removed the pony from their resort to a proper care facility!!!
