We need to speak for them.

Policemen shooting dogs, policemen eating dog meat, policemen abusing dogs themselves or brushing off reports.

Politicians having no idea of what happens in pounds or how bad the pound situations are. People in office posting about their pets but do not lobby laws for animal welfare.

People reporting to Facebook instead of filing a blotter or going to the prosecutors’ office because people dont know who to report to. (Or they do but they will brush it off or say, a*o lang naman yan.)

This is the reality of strays. And awful people.

And people still wonder why we choose to fight for the animals.

Animal Welfare needs a whole lot of help and support!! Choose to be their voice.

Today is World Smokefree Day, and as part of this SPCA is urging people not to smoke or v**e near their pets.

Did you know that research shows second-hand smoke and ni****ne from e-cigarettes can have serious health effects on animals, just like humans?

“Exposure to second-hand smoke has been linked with cancer in dogs and cats, as well as skin, eye and respiratory diseases in birds, rabbits and guinea pigs. It can also affect fish, as the pollutants from smoke are dissolved easily into their water.”
