This beautiful guest, Adele, has arrived. She has been many times before and was excited to see us. She has come for her weeks holiday and we will ensure she has an enjoyable time.

The handsome Winston has popped in for a few days. We’ve not had a guest for a wee while, so looking forward to some quiet walks (as he’s getting older), when it’s not raining.

Roxie thinks this is her second home and has certainly made herself comfortable on the bed tonight, waiting for the humans to join her. Lovely to have her back again. Every toy has been out of the basket for play already.

Sadly some of past guests have gone over the rainbow bridge in the last year. We remember Remi, Mojo and Finnick at this time. We know their loss is difficult for their families. RIP little ones.

Marko has come for the weekend with his Porsche-chair. Which makes it easier to get outside the village. He never seems to like to sit in his cosy bed, but just have some contact with it. This is a typical pose.

Every time a Frenchie guest comes to stay, even for 1 day, this is the washing we do, to ensure the next guest has fresh linen, and does not smell the previous guest. Included are cover sheet for our bed (as most of our guests sleep there), cuddly blanket for the dog bed, blankets for the couch and chair they are allowed to sit on. Towels for front door for wiping wet and dirty feet. The dog bed gets aired outside, as it is covered with big blanket. And not shown, but one blanket for the car. And a good vacuum of the house to get all the dog hair up. Just thought some of you might be interested!!

Indie has returned. She is a shy little girl, but such a delight. Look at her legs - not one going in the same direction. Maybe those back ones are imitating a chicken??

I wonder where Asia & Flex’s pawrents are now. We got these given to us when we looked after these two many Christmas’s ago. Would love to give them back.

We are thrilled to have Harvey stay with us over Christmas. He is a Titan Kennels boy, and the first one we have had. We follow Loretta Lovell and her lovely pups, and a few years ago were going to get a mature girl from her, but decided we like just looking after gorgeous Frenchies and giving them back. Our mantra. No cost, no committment, and no grief.

This is Little One. A Frenchie gift for my birthday this week. (The lovely friend just had to have her cat of the same name put down today.). Isn’t he just lovely.

This beautiful girl Adele has had a busy weekend at our place with a big walk around Devonport’s North head. She peed on nearly every plant. LOL. But snuggled in at night on our bed. She’s got lovely markings.
