Ludlow has not been a house dog however, sleeps comfortably inside in a crate without incident. He has been around children but not on a daily basis. He gets very excited when hens get too close to the kennel area.

The Rabbit (“kaninchen”) sized dachshund is newly recognised by the ANKC, the smallest variety of dachshund in the FCI show rings.
Our lines are imported from Hungry and Norway and in 2023 from Europe. I cannot thank enough the beautiful specialist rabbit breeders abroad who have supported and mentored me in this new breed endeavour, in Australia. We hope to breed a combination of these beautiful lines to produce healthy, conformationally correct offspring.
We have imported our first Kaninchen (rabbit) little boy Lukas an international Danish & Norwegian champion from Norway.
Our little girl Susanna is from Hungry & we achieved her Auckland title in 2023
We had the honor of showing our 3rd Kanitchen little girl Avrora in Norway in 2022 in which she she took out best of breed, BCC & and fifth place and show out of 130 competitors in Norway.
Avrora arrives in Auckland early 2023 she has been imported from Russia & Norway. We are looking forward to show casing these special little dachshunds and are hoping the fraternity will follow.

We have a litter of mini dachshunds which will be available either on the Main or Limited Register with their Pedigree, from mid-late September . Our litter available is 2 boys and 1 girl, with two black/tans and one red. These puppies are from Aust. Champions, as well
In order that our babies are registered to required standards of the A.N.K.C. they are DNA tested for parentage, microchipped, wormed from the age of 14 weeks and will be vaccinated with their first and second injections which will be C3 and C5. We do not have many litters, but think positively that the puppies that we have are an improvement on past litters through careful panning.
Pictures can be supplied on request as will the cost of any puppy sold, as we need to be assured that the homes where our puppies will live, they will be treated with love, respect, and also afforded any health assistance they may need in future years, as well as being suited to the owners lifestyle.

Miniature Dachshunds are a small family based registered breeder in Auckland . Our pups are raised in our family home where they are well socialised and receive full time care and supervision. Champion stock. Our focus is on breeding quality companion dogs with good form and temperament and we specialise in chocolate and black colouring. We are regrettably looking for a loving home for our 3 months brown color dapple dachshund. Ella is lovely mannered lady. I retained Ella to hopefully show her but she is too anxious to put in the show ring and I don’t believe in putting her through unnecessary stress. It is with a heavy heart that I have decided a new home where she will be loving cared for and the centre of attention is what’s best for her. She is a very sweet natured girl. Puppies are raised in our lounge room and are well socialised with adults, children and other dogs. They spend time in various environments both inside and out to foster their development. During the weaning process puppies begin crate training and learn to sleep in their own crate making the transition to their new home as easy as possible. Toilet training also begins as soon as possible.

Both parents are back scored with low results, therefore reducing the risks of IVDD. All adults are DNA tested and are clear of any genetic diseases.
