These gorgeous kittens are currently in our care as of last Friday they reached 3 weeks of age!

They are sure growing up fast!

In the upcoming future they will be up for adoption to loving homes, follow us for weekly updates.

Fireworks are coming up so please make sure all your animal have somewhere safe to hide and that all microchip details are correct. ❤️ please take any strays to the SPCA or local vet clinic to ensure they are not missing

Guy Fawkes is just a week away and while fireworks may be fun for some, they can cause severe distress for our companion animals. 😿 To help protect them, now is the time to check that your pet’s microchip details are up to date on the NZ Companion Animal Register (NZCAR). This can make reuniting much easier if they become frightened and run off!

Here are some other steps to keep pets safe:

👉 Keep pets indoors, closing curtains to reduce exposure to bright flashes.
👉 Create a safe, quiet area for them to retreat to if frightened.
👉 Take dogs for a walk before dusk to avoid being outside during fireworks.
👉 Provide distractions, like toys or treats, to keep them occupied.
👉 Consider speaking to your vet about calming options if your pet has a severe fear of fireworks.

Hello everyone with it being spring there are a lot of new borns around. Kitten season is approaching if not here already and duckling season is too!

So far we have helped care temporarily for atleast 6 ducklings.

With more surely to come in we are asking for anyone with bird care experience with new borns or cat and kitten experience to help us foster in the up coming months.

Meet Sass,

This beauty is estimated around 2-3 years old.

Her story is a common one.

This darling girl had been living her best life with her other cat house mate until their owners moved out, leaving her and the other cat behind, soon the other cat she lived with also disappeared leaving the sweet girl behind.

We are hoping to give her a second chance to find the forever home where she will be loved and cared for.

She loves to purr so much so that she dribbles with affection as she does so!

She is a custom to cuddles and loves to kneed making biscuits in all soft blankets she can.

This little sweet kind hearted cuddler will also follow you around the house, wanting to be near you.

She is up to date with Flea and worming, her vaccination status is unknown at this point but this will be started soon. She is microchipped and desexed.

Unfortunately we have some extremely sad news.
All three rats have sadly passed away, Falcon and Cheese passed away on Mothers day and we have since enquired into their passings and are awaiting all three rat results from their necropsy's.
We will announce you of the findings when we get the reports.
In the mean time we thank and deeply appreciate all those who have donated towards these boys and have refunded all donations.

Unfortunately we have a sad update for you all.

Wazza has sadly passed on Sunday afternoon, we are sending him away to try discover the cause of why he passed.

This is very upsetting for us as he was doing really well with treatment up until this point and so it has come out of the blue. His fosterer is feeling his loss.

Thank you to all those who have already helped raise money to help these rescue boys.

We still plan to continue treatments with Falcon and Cheese.

If you are able to spare a $1 or $2 please help us get these boys what they need.
