What a show it has been! The Archibald & Shorter Puhinui International 3 Day Event was a cracker! As with all eventing competitions it had its ups & downs for everyone, that’s horses right? Congratulations to the Puhinui organising committee, course designer Tich Massey & sponsors for an outstanding event at a truly beautiful & unique venue. Huge congratulations to ALL the winners & placegetters. Special mention goes to our sponsored rider Donna Edwards-Smith on fabulous results (3rd, 5th, Best Performed Thoroughbred & Best Presented in the 4* on DSE Mendoza & DSE Henton for Glory), 5th in the 2* on DSE Tommy Thompson; Char Penny & her plucky little mare Festival - overnight leaders in the 4* & overall a close 2nd by 0.01!; Abbey Thompson & Cadbury KSNZ 2nd in the 3*; Mackenzie Marlo winning the Young Rider on DSE Presley, & 4th & 5th in the 3* (CHS Presley & CHS Diplomat). Well done to all the support crews - Mums, parents, partners & grooms for all their hard work too 👏🏼 Sarah loves being involved as an FEI Permitted Equine Therapist & and owner!
