Cillian was like a kid at Disney land during our trip to Animates. Go take your dogs to places that allow dogs! Animates welcome all pups and encourage those who are in training as they know just how important these trips are. Mitre 10, Bunnings, and some garden centres also allow dogs as long as they are on leash and well behaved. Take them early in their life to socialise them, expose them to environments that can become too overwhelming later in life and meet lots of different types of people along the way. Perfect for rainy days when walks aren't an option. These trips will help when it comes to vet visits too 🐾

One of the reasons I love my job is that I get to help pups find their place in their new homes. Meet Milla 💕
Milla is a sweetheart who is extremely quick to learn new commands and is beginning to understand how her family wants her to behave. I'm looking forward to working with her more and helping her little human understand how to train her 🐾

I am so grateful to be part of this baby girl's start in life and I couldn't be more happy about it 🥰 meet Skye, she's 2 months old and has already learned "sit" and is well on her way to mastering "drop it", "leave it" and "come". At this rate she'll be a professor of squeaky toys and "how to make humans go 'awwww' " in no time 😅

Foster home or forever home needed! If anyone is able to help give him a safe space until he finds a forever home, please send me a message.

Meet Zoro, he has been rescued from the streets and temporarily living with some amazing humans who took him in when he was starving and injured. He has had vet care and lots of yummy meals to help him gain his strength. I am also working with them to help him with some training to help him until he finds a home. He's not microchiped either.

The lovely humans who took him in are unable to have him at their house too long though as it's not the most secure yard and he's so used to roaming he gets out at any given opportunity. He has been worm and flea treated and booked in for desex early June.

A little description of Zoro from his current caretakers:

"Zoro is a smart and attentive companion in need of a loving home! This resilient pup now brims with energy and curiosity. Best suited for an experienced owner with time to spare, he craves attention and learns new tricks easily. Must have a fully fenced property as he’s used to fending for himself but once he knows he has a secure home he will adapt right away. Needs a lot of toys as he loves to chew. He isn’t toilet trained so will need help in that area."

Yesterday was a huge success! After Cillian lost his old best friend, I've been working to find him a new one ever since. When I heard about Anakin, I knew instantly they'd be a perfect match!

Cillian is very rough when he plays and tries to play this way with his humans, so it's important for him to have a healthy outlet for this type of activity. As you can see, Anakin plays the same way ❤️ I'm becoming quite the doggie match maker 🐾

Juni spent this sunny Saturday afternoon jumping through the long grass and posing for photos ❤️ She also spent time learning "leave" and walking past the sheep 🐑 she's such an angel and with this early start of lots of training, she's growing up to become so super well behaved 👏 well done to mum and dad for all their hard work so far!

There's nothing greater while walking your dog, than having a loose leash, am I right? Here is Benson on one of his regular walks, acting like a proper gentleman. The biggest challenge with him is keeping this up when he's with his bestie Cillian! The excitement takes over his ability to listen, so we just keep practicing until he understands the rules at all distraction levels.

After Kea's first training session with me, he spent some time with his chicken friend 🐓 Kea is learning to refocus on his mum when there are other dogs around and not bark at them. In the house he is a gentleman, very respectful and well behaved, but other dogs put him on edge. My job is to help him readjust that ❤️
