On Saturday we picked up two new ewes both due to lamb early August. We have named them Sparkle and Roman. Looking forward to some cute F3 lambs soon 😊

Availability 2024*

We currently have available now a selection of Foundation ewes due to lamb September 2024. They will produce F1 50% Valais lambs. PM for more info.
We will also have F1 50%, F2 75%, F3 87.5% Valais lambs available at weaning late December.
Photos are examples of some of our foundation ewes available. We can do multiple sheep deals get in touch for more info.

There have been a few comings and goings over the last couple of weeks. Odin had 3 new girlfriends arrive for a visit last weekend. Roo went back home and today Mistletoe left for her new home. Beau - Jingles is also due to head to his new home in the next week or so. Parkdale Drew is hanging out with our pet weather Big Boy and enjoying their lucerne every morning.

We have a few red and purple bums out in the paddock now. Drew and Odin have been busy over the last 6 weeks. This weekend Odin will go out with our Hoggets.

Today it was Rose creek Odins turn to go out with the girls 😊 Parkdale Drew has marked over half the ewes. We are very excited to see what we will get in spring 😀

This week we tagged and registered all our replacement ewes all up we have 9 replacements. We also drenched and gave everyone a B12 shot.

Been a bit behind in the happening at Mac's stud......the shearing happened about 3 weeks ago, the sheep are feeling and looking good. We also said farwell to the last of our weathers.

After thinking we had finished lambing......a ewe who we thought was dry was looking a bit suspect the other day during weaning. Today she had her lamb. A ram lamb who is officially the last of Parkdale Beau's offspring. We have named him Beau-Jingles 🥰

We have had 2 new additions join our stud. Parkdale Drew and Rose Creek Odin. They have both settled in well. Cannot wait too see what these two boys will produce next spring.

The weather really turned it on today for the South Otago A & P show today. Both lambs handled the atmosphere well, especially Mac's Pepsi who wasn't too keen on wearing his costume. Looking forward to having more sheep to enter next year. It's fair to say Kids, Lambs and Parents will sleep well tonight 😴

This morning we woke up to find a new lamb in our paddock. Our first purebred ewe lamb 🥰 The kids have already named her Mac's Cocoa and shes just gorgeous.
