Now onto the third we have smudge 🥰🐴
Smudge is only a baby being 5! And has only been lunging for 2 months which hasn’t always been plain sailing! We’ve definitely had some disagreements on circles with his right rein being by far his worse! But as we can see from the video below we’ve come on leaps and bounds. Smudge struggles with his balance and tempo but also find this whole going in circles hard work! And quite likes a good walk in the middle so we worked on keeping our trots going a little longer with smaller walk breaks. His transitions have become increasingly good which has improved this tempo and balance🐴😊

The second is venture 🥰🐴
Venture has been working really hard with her top line, which although at the moment she can not wear a bridle or a Passoa.
She like tinkerbelle can become rushed and like to do her best giraffe impressions! But can work beautifully. At the moment she is working towards becoming fitter after a few months of stop start work. Like any horse she can get overly excited when it comes to canter on the lunge! So we decided to work on our canter to trot transitions. Which have become quite rushed and unbalanced! My videoing skills really haven’t done her any justice in this video, by the end of her 20 minutes of lunging we started to develop a much more even tempo throughout our transitions😊🐴
I had the privilege of working with three lovely horse/ponies🐴
The first being tinkerbelle.
She can rush and become unbalanced and tense throughout her gaits and transitions so we’ve been working really hard on keeping ourselves calmer when lunging through doing lots of transitions and using vocal cues rather then a lunge whip. This has allowed her to relax, develop more balance and have a better rhythm/tempo 🐴
