Our Story

The concept for Charli & Coco was inspired by one seemingly simple need: our quest to find a quality, contemporary dog bowl that fit the aesthetic of our home. Our dilemma? There were no local options available, and products purchased online were either of a much lower standard of quality than we expected, or did not fit with our style. As our needs grew for our tiny pooches so did our frustration, hence we decided to take matters into our own hands, and our dream of establishing a luxury local pet grocer and supplies boutique was born.

A Christchurch, family owned and operated business, Charli & Coco is thrilled to offer a beautiful in-store and online shopping experience for discerning dog and cat owners, with a wide range of homewares, lifestyle supplies, treats and more from New Zealand and international designers and brands.

Established for pet parents – by pet parents – our luxury boutique offers a lovingly curated collection of high quality, pet-safe and environmentally friendly wares you’ll adore. We’ve hand-picked the best lifestyle, grooming and feeding products from our favourite New Zealand brands, as well as a select number of quality designers in the USA, Europe and Australia.

Charli & Coco is proud to stock items from leading and designer brands, including Wolves of Wellington, smith&burton, St Argo, Fur Love, Hunter, Haute Diggity Dog and more. Virtually everything you’ll find in-store and online has been thoroughly tested by Coco herself, and her sister Meadow.
