Hot off the sewing machine these upcycled woollen blankets are live on the website now. They are made from 100% woollen blankets which were all made in NZ. I’ve trimmed them down to doggo size and finished them with either a ribbon edge or frayed edge. Only 1-2 available in each colour combination so get in quick if you’d like one.

Gosh! Time has really gotten away on me recently. We’ve had beautiful autumn weather in Christchurch. I’ve been sewing up my Fall Flannel bandanas and blankets.

But I’m also dreaming of moving to the country! We’ve been looking at a lot of lifestyle blocks. We put an offer on one and missed out. 😔 Now we’ve found another which we like. So I’ve been spending huge hours in our garden try to get our house ready to put on the market should we be lucky enough to have our offer accepted. I’m finding it hard to explain why I want to move to the country, it’s a lot less convenient for school and work for my hubby. But I just feel like I can breathe so much better in the country… maybe that’s crazy.

Anyway today it’s been raining. So I got back to the sewing machine and started on some retro wool blankets. These are made in New Zealand. I’ve Upcycled them by cutting them down to dog size and edging them with ribbon. They will be limited edition with a maximum of two the same and I’ll aim to get them on the website later this week.

Hope everyone is having a happy weekend. We’re in iso as hubby has COVID. Fingers crossed we’ll all be out on Tuesday.

Hello! I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and a Happy New year. Plus managed some fun times away with your furry friends.

I would like to welcome all the new followers we have collected over the summer break.

My website is now up and running again. I have some new fabrics which I am sewing up and will be live on my website 7pm Friday. These fabrics are handwoven in Guatemala, check out my story for a sneak peak!
