Simon first fell in love with dogs ten years ago when he met Kim's family Beagle. Now he dreams of adopting a zoo of large dogs from Labradors to Saint Bernards! He also has a soft spot for cats, and currently lives with a Maine C**n who enjoys pottering around the garden with him.

Fun Fact: Simon has completed two marathons and is looking at his third later this year!

Simon has often come along to Kim’s petsits and takes bookings of his own when she isn’t available. Very experienced with household pets and has references available upon request.

Kim has always grown up with animals, with her parents bringing home a Golden Retriever puppy when she was only a few months old. She also grew up taking care of cats, rabbits, chickens, and rejected lambs.

She set up this page as a way of being able to ‘share’ someone else’s pet for a short while and take very good care of them. It is important to her that the owners feel really comfortable that their pets and home are in great hands.

Fun Fact: Kim recently finished her studies and is now a Registered Nurse!

Kim has years of experience with animals, and as a petsitter. References are available upon request.

It's been a long time since I posted but I've been keeping busy! A few changes to come around here which is very exciting. My partner Simon has been pet sitting with me and on his own for years now so it's about time he joined me on here!

Simon will be available to watch your furry family members when I am otherwise booked. He comes with his own references, is very experienced, and has a massive soft spot for big dogs.

The other thing to note is a reduction in price. Times are tough for everyone and Simon and I petsit for the love of it more than the money so it made sense to bring our price down.

We have lots of space through until Christmas so please get in touch!

"Kim was amazing. She house sat and looked after our dog for just under two weeks. The house was immaculate, and she kept us updated on our dog throughout our trip. Honest, trustworthy and caring. A perfect house / dog sitter."

"Kim looked after Poppy our 3 year old Labradoodle on a number of occasions both for day walks and also for overnight and multiple days at a time. Poppy always had a great time with Kim and every time we came home she was tired and happy and every time Kim came to visit Poppy would run around the house with excitement. We always found Kim very professional and easy to deal with and her communication was excellent we would thoroughly recommend her to anyone."

INTRODUCTION POST

Hello everyone, my name is Kim. I've been pet sitting for some time now and thought I would create a central page for posting about my jobs, and to reach out for more opportunities.

A bit about me:

I'm 27, and half way through my nursing degree. Born in Christchurch, and still love living here. I have had pets my entire life, and have always loved animals of all shapes and sizes.

I am very professional in my dealings with those hiring me, and keep in frequent contact. I respect and maintain the system/boundaries the owners have for their pets, and respect their home. Most importantly, I have lots of love to give to the pets I take care of.

I would be incredibly grateful if you could spread the word to those who might need a pet sitter - and do get in touch if you are interested!
