Our hearts have been torn into pieces…
Goodbye our sweet, cheeky Leroy 💔

We had a devastating afternoon, after working tirelessly to save him (thank you to the incredible vets) Leroy would have less than 10% chance of surviving the surgery he needed and would likely not survive recovery so the kindest thing to do was to put him to sleep..
Leroy passed away this afternoon in my arms, surrounded by love. This was not what I had expected the outcome to be, I feel cheated out of his time with us, he was supposed to grow old on our farm and live his full life.

Life can be so cruel sometimes, we feel broken and defeated, but grateful we were able to stop his suffering 💔

Thank you to everyone for your kind words and prayers for our dear Leroy, we will miss him endlessly.

Apologies to anyone that this has affected through having to reschedule appointments and not having time to reply to messages yet. Thank you all for your patience.

*Leroy update 🐷🙁💔
Our poor boy isn’t doing too well, we have been trying our hardest, he is now suspected to have a twisted gut 💔
I have been syringe feeding him, he’s drinking water and slowly moving around but very painful in his stomach and arched in his back.
This morning I dropped him off to the vets for further diagnostics, a new medication and monitoring. One last ditch effort to help him.

I am praying and hoping we get a miracle that our darling boy pulls through 💔😞

When I woke up this morning and went to feed Leroy and Jenkins, Leroy didn’t get up. He was laying on his side, lethargic and hardly moving.
We brought him inside to monitor him until the vet came and he is suffering with suspected pneumonia 😢

Very difficult new this morning and I’m praying he will make it through after his vet treatment. Will keep you guys posted ❤️🐷

This very special girl is Skye, she is a trained service dog for her mum! 🫡 🐾
She is specially trained to alert others if her mum has a fall or her heart rate lowers - what a clever girl!! ❤️

Harness training the piggies - DAY 1 🐷

So I had the idea to harness train Leroy & Jenkins (yes I know I’m crazy 🤪) pigs are incredibly trainable and intelligent and I can already tell just how smart these guys are!

Using positive reinforcement (treats) I popped the harnesses on and let them get used to the feeling, they were a little confused at first but quickly adapted and carried on like nothing happened!

Welcome to your new home little ones ❤️🐷
Introducing our newest family members Leroy & Jenkins!
After seeing these sweet boys for sale as meat pigs we just couldn’t let that happen and on Saturday we brought them back to their new forever home 🌳❤️
They are 8 weeks old and still a little shy, but even after a few days they are coming out of their shell and loving some belly scratches!!
